"Coorie Doon" loosely translated means to cuddle-in and that is what we wish for our guests -a warm homely atmosphere where you can relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. There is so much to do from visiting the birthplace of Robert Burns and the adjacent museum to playing a round of golf or exploring the local parks and National Trust estates. There are wonderful walks and a beach to explore and being only 5minutes from the town centre of Ayr retail therapy isn't far away.
Brig-O-Doon House hotel is only 5 minutes walk away and we often have wedding guests who stay with us over the weekend due to the cottage's close proximity to the hotel.
