Description

Not a typical B&B, this is a spare room in a family home.

Why a Bed & Breakfast if you have the opportunity to have a room in a share house where you can use the kitchen, the bathroom, the living room and the terraces?

In this double room you will feel like home. This is part of a recently renovated apartment and has a private bathroom. The apartment also has another large bathroom, a spacious living room and kitchen dining room, fully equipped with all modern technology.

The room and all common areas are acclimatized. Wi-Fi, towels and sheets included. No cleaning charge!

Although this room is prepared for two people, customers needing to three or four can book a second room that is displayed on its ad under the name “Nice room near Alicante downtown”

You may also access a terrace of 80 square meters, equipped with barbecue and fridge great to dance and share with friends.

All public areas are air conditioned. Wi-Fi, towels, sheets, toiletries and a hair dryer! Travel cot on request.

We are in a quiet area surrounded by bars, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and many different shops.

You can walk from the house to different parts of the city as a Rico Perez sport stadium, areas for skating, running and exercising, all freely available. Walking just a few minutes you can reach the Auditorium, Plaza de Toros, La Rambla, La Explanada and The Santa Barbara Castle. Although we are 20 minutes walking from the city centre and 25minutes from El Postiguet beach, there are good combinations of buses to these places from stops very close to our house.

From our balcony and terrace you can see one of the bonfires of the famous party called “Hogueras de San Juan”.

You can make calls to national landlines, and any phone in the U.S. and Canada (Ask about it). We give you some guidance, tips sights and suggestions on how to maximize your stay.

We are flexible with the schedules of entry and exit.

If you need to park your car, you can find a place nearby or pay for in a close parking.

Getting around

The most convenient way to see the sights is walking toward the sea and visit museums, climb on El castillo de Santa Barbara, The historical center, El Postiguet beach etc. You may also take a bus very near the house or the tram to visit other beaches and mediterranean cities like Villa Joyosa, La Cala de Finestrat, Benidorm etc.

House rules

Although the main thing is that you feel at ease and enjoy your stay in our house there are some rules to comply, such as identifying with their identity card or passport, no smoking inside (smoking permitted on the balcony, gallery, patio and on the terrace), limit noise, just prior visits permission of the owners, maintaining basic hygiene and cleanliness in the rooms and in the common area.

“Clean room & open, friendly hosts”

The room was very clean & comfy and the hosts were lovely; really friendly & approachable. The apartment is about a 20 minute walk from the beach but is surrounded by cafes, shops & bakeries. I would definitely recommend this letting.

Nous avons passé 1 semaine à Alicante chez Esmeralda et Raoul, c'était génial. Ce sont des personne d'une gentillesse immense ainsi que d'une convivialité et d'une grande générosité, la chambre et l'appartement était très chaleureux. Nous recommandons vraiment à toutes personnes désirant de passer un séjour à Alicante de venir le passer chez eux.

Esmeralda and her husband were warm, welcoming and all you could hope for as hosts. The apartment is fantastic, about a 25 minute walk from the beach and city center and most importantly, has A/C! I traveled alone for a week and half through Spain and spend 3 nights/4 days in Alicante and this is a great place for one or two people to stay for a nice relaxing vacation.
