"Fabulous place!"

The owner, David, is a lovely person and will do all he can to make your stay comfortable. If there is anything you need help with, he is only a phone call away (his parents live at the back of the cottage) What an amazing cottage! It's spacious, clean and very classy. The bedrooms are gorgeous and each room feels private and separate from the other bedrooms; one is en suite. Three very modern bathrooms means there is no waiting in the morning if you're with a large group. We mainly visit with our 3 disabled friends and the cottage is perfect for them. I've even had a girlie week with my friends and we had a great time; especially chilling in the hot tub under the evening stars. There are no properties overlooking the cottage so you have total privacy. The kitchen has all the amenities needed to prepare a family meal. We've stayed 5 times and are never disappointed; despite the fact I'm not easily pleased. There's a cosy wood burner in the lounge which kept us warm in the winter cold. Comfortable settees and chairs to slump in after a busy day exploring the local area. The pretty town of Helensburgh is a few miles away. It has small cafés and a few shops to browse. There's a huge Asda, M &S and Argos in Dumbarton which is 5 miles from your accommodation so no need to bring provisions for your stay. You can even arrange for your Asda shopping to be delivered after you arrive. For the more adventurous, there are plenty of walks and hiking paths around the area. I'm already arranging to visit again early next year

"Exactly what we needed."

Auchendennan cottage is in a great location for enjoying Loch Lomond and all it has to offer. Glasgow is also a short drive/train journey away. The cottage itself was perfect. Our party was two small family's ,both with young children and infants. The weather was poor during our stay but this did not ruin the chance to use the hot tub. We are definitely looking to return in the new year again.
