Reviewed 6 Feb 2013

You could not wish for better hosts, they made us feel like old friends. We had agreat week at Apelle, whilst attending a wedding.Great games barn for the children and me.Petra and Lee were great hosts very knowledgable about the area and a geat help, especially when we needed a trip to the hospital with our 11 year old son,Petra could not have done any more to help and we will always be grateful!.I would recommend the property to anyone and i am sure they would enjoy thier stay.

“Everything was perfect!!”

Reviewed 19 Aug 2012

The cottage was lovely. The pool and games room were an added bonus. The surrounding areas were also lovely to visit. The supermarket was close to get to by car as well the local services for petrol. We managed a day trip by train to Paris, which was reasonbly priced. The owners were very helpful and it was a pleasure to stay at Apelle Cottage with all its history. Beautiful.

“Great place to stay with children and groups”

Reviewed 7 Nov 2011

Two families shared the cottage for the week and there was plenty of space. Great place to be for Fall in France. Enjoyed playing in the garden and on the trampoline. Good location for seeing sights in the area - spent a day at D-day beaches and a day at Mont St Michel. Otherwise went into the local towns and markets. The owners and their family and pets are wonderful and really made us feel welcome.
