“Perfect New Years”

Reviewed 5 Jan 2017

Another wonderful stay at Pebble Cottage in Aldeburgh. The location is perfect, just a brief two minute walk to catch the fireworks as we welcomed in 2017. Great family friendly place and would recommend to anyone. We'll be back very soon x

“Lovely, clean, cosy cottage ideally located on the main street.”

Reviewed 11 Oct 2016

We stayed here with our two toddlers and found the house ideal as it processes a cot, high chair and stair gates. There is also a garden equipped for BBQs. The cottage is a couple of streets back from the sea front and very close to all the shops and restaurants of Aldeburgh, however, it is in no way noisy. There is also off street parking. The cottage is scrupulously clean and well equipped and we enjoyed using the wood burner. As for Aldeburgh itself, it is a wonderful little town, plenty to do nearby and the most wonderful shingle beach. A great location.

“Lovely cosy cottage, spacious and clean, best equipped I've stayed in!”

Stayed at Pebble cottage for a short Christmas break, lovely and spacious but cosy at the same time! Immaculately clean and so well equipped Heidi has thought of everything. The cottage is right on the high street so all the shops and restaurants are walkable as is the beach which my little dog Cookie appreciated. Thoughtful touches such as chocolate bears on the bed were loved by my girls as was the Prosecco by me!!! Have already highly recommended to friends and will definately be back.

“A stunning holiday cottage in a fabulous central location.....”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2013

We stayed at Pebble Cottage with our two young children (both under 3) and had an absolutely amazing holiday. The cottage is beautifully appointed (with the exception of a stair gate) and had everything we needed for a trouble free break on the Suffolk Heritage coastline...The courtyard garden to the rear of the property is a fantastic bonus and the large kitchen / dining room is a really good feature of the property with there probably being enough space and a suitable amount of crockery & glassware to host dinner for at least 10 people! The central location of Pebble Cottage was great and it's only a stones throw away from the seafront and just two doors down from the brilliant Lighthouse Restaurant...the Regatta in the middle of the High Street is also exceptional & the terrace outside the Brudenell Hotel is well worth a visit especially if you are travelling with young children..We also visited Africa Alive near Lowestoft / The Easton Farm Park / Southwold and the Pier / Walberswick (for crabbing & The Anchor!) and the Mere at Thorpeness...All were superb and were no more than 45 minutes or so away from the home from home that is Pebble Cottage.. We are already planning a return visit to Pebble Cottage next year and cannot speak highly enough about this incredible family friendly property. We have already recommended Pebble Cottage to both friends and family and we really could not fault any aspect of this stunning holiday property.

“Lovely cottage, very comfortable, excellent help!”

A 4 BUT READ ON.......This would have received a 5 rating if there hadn't been just one problem which impacted our stay. However, everyone went out of their way to correct it and the service and friendliness of owner and cleaner receive a 5! Having arrived in cold and windy October we had planned some good dvd watching with teenage children, but the dvd didn't work which rather affected our first day and evening. However when we got back after lunch the next day a new dvd was sitting on the table ready for us to use. This was fantastic service and couldn't have been faster in the circumstances. Things can always go wrong anywhere you stay and knowing that they will be sorted quickly and efficiently is a real bonus. The cottage itself is fantastic, very warm- also a bonus in October!- very comfortable, and in an excellent location. Quiet at night but very close to shops, amenities and walks. Would highly recommend it from our experience.

“Excellent cottage ,ambience and central location”

Stayed here before and the standard of furnishing and great facilities at the cottage and nearby made it a great place to relax and unwind. We stayed in September and the great weather added to a relaxing break. Highly recommended if you want to get away and use it as a base to visit countryside and coast.

“Beautiful homely cottage close to beach and local shops”

Reviewed 19 Oct 2012

Pebble cottage is located on a quiet stretch of Aldeburgh High Street, close to the beach and shops. The quality of the cottage gave us the sense that it was decorated and fitted out to be lived in by the owner, not just let out to holidaymakers. In Aldeburgh there is a nice collection of independent and chain shops. There is a small cinema with an Art Deco interior a few doors up the road and some nice bars, pubs and restaurants. We visited the Adnam's brewery in Southwold, a food festival at Snape Maltings and Jimmy's Farm, all of which we can highly recommend.

“Fantastic coastal retreat”

Reviewed 2 Oct 2012

A group of four of us had a wonderful weekend stay at Pebble Cottage to celebrate a special family birthday. The accommodation is first class with everything you could possibly need for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Fabulous location - 2 minutes walk to the beach with all the lovely shops and restaurants Aldeburgh has to offer on your doorstep. Highly recommended.

“Great cottage in perfect location”

Reviewed 7 May 2012

Really lovely cottage in the centre of Aldeburgh with everything in it that you need. Cottage was spotless and had a large kitchen/dining room. It had a very light and airy sitting room with glass doors and roof, and a great garden/patio which would catch the sun (albeit there wasn't much in April) and be great for a bbq. The parking space outside was very useful (and rare in Aldeburgh) as was the wifi and broadband. The owner was really helpful and flexible too. Highly recommended,
