“A beautifully furnished house, wonderful location.”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2013

We had a lovely holiday, the house is equiped to a very high standard. The bedrooms are light and airy, the bathrooms luxurious. As we were a large group we enjoyed the lounge seating, it was easy to relax together. We had some young visitors who loved the dressing up clothes and the toy sailing boats. We had fun trying to sail them on the little lake. The attention to detail makes this house very special.

“Perfectly located, well equipped and great for families with young children”

A great house, well located for all that Aldeburgh has got to offer. We stayed as 3 families with young children (2 to 5 years), and found the house extremely well equipped for all our needs. The amble bathrooms meant no need to share. The house was presented very well and was very clean. We loved our stay, and would definately recommend it to others.

“perfect place for large group of various ages”

house has everything you could possibly need, 3 tv's, adults an kids are well catered for, house is big an light an comfy an spotless, well laid out, safe enclosed garden, even though its in the high street its fairly quiet,an so near to everything you would need, resturants grocerys unusual shops and not your usual high street chains, the resturant next door ''the lighthouse'' is a must as is the chip shop down the far end of the high street, try the delli for brilliant home made food,we have stayed in dozens of self catering places and this was the best place we have stayed in..................................

“Beautiful house and location, location, location.”

Suffork coast is lovely, so much to do, important to read literature in house it has all the information you need to visit great places. If you like walking, you are spoilt for choice(coast walk superb), to shop just step out the front door, boat trips or just relaxing on a seat on the beach watching the fishermen coming in with their catch. If you just want a quiet time then the house is the place to be. We are a fairly large group who have booked houses all over Britain and this rates as one of the best for house and location.

“A great house in a great location.”

This is a really lovely spacious house that is beautifully decorated with all mod cons. The owners have provided for everything and it makes a great house for families and friends.

“Clean, comfortable, excellent”

Reviewed 26 Jan 2012

First impressions on entering are very good. It gets better as you explore the house. All facilities are excellent and the space for the young children to escape was very welcome. We all enjoyed walking out onto the High Street and the Lighthouse Restaurant for our celebration meal was adjacent and extremely good. On the Sunday the boys discovered the PS2 and that meant calm descended while some of us went for a walk on the sea front. Later the boating lake let them float the small yachts provided most happily. Overall without doubt the best holiday rental I have ever used, thank you.

“Perfect house for family get together holidays”

Reviewed 8 Dec 2011

We stayed in The Pink House for a long weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday - 6 adults and 2 children. The house was perfect, plenty of space for everyone to move about making it feel comfortable and homely. Amazing thought gone into providing equipment over and above the usual sheets, towels etc. Lots of toys, games etc for children of all ages and also adults, it even has a table tennis table. Easy booking and communication with the owner - would highly recommend this property - though risk it becoming very popular and not being able to book again !!

“spacious and comfortable”

Reviewed 23 Nov 2011

we couldn't have been much happier with this house, it ticks all the boxes - comfortable, spacious, great location, well equipped and furnished to a high standard.

“lovely”

Reviewed 15 Nov 2011

It did exactly what it said on the tin for us.. Sea side retreat in a nice comfortable house for 10 friends from London. Relaxed.. easy booking/communication with owner. Fish and chips on the beach. Crabbing in Orford. Windy walks. Enough sofa space for us to get overly competitive playing boardgames! I don't think a holiday house needs to have a spectacular feature, it just needs to work. This house did that.. great light space in living area. Added extras like the ping pong table.. It would be very difficult to have a bad time. The negative: our 3 nights were far too short! Didn't even have time to get the wood burner going! *Slightly tempted not to recommend this property to keep it's popularity down. Comparison review from one of my friends: Lovely house, Good size for 10 people, very well equipped. Would book again. x
