Description

Quinta da Sao Sebastio is located in the village of Alcantarilla just a three minute drive from the lovely seaside resort of Armacao de Pera and 5 minutes from Gale with it's gorgeous beaches and restaurants. Quiet and peaceful, yet only a fifteen minute drive from the lively but lovely resort of Albufeira. The villa has access to everything within a couple of minutes. Great beaches, fabulous restaurants, Aqualand Water Park, Zoo Marine (swim with the dolphins), the largest retail shopping centre in the Algarve, complete with bowling and cinema (showing English movies) and a choice of great golf clubs, The Faldo & O'Connor courses of Oceanico Amendoeira, Salgados and Silves to name just a few.

The house benefits from a lovely pool, shared with the other 8 houses. Leading from the living room and the kitchen is a large terrace, furnished with a built in barbecue and table and chairs to enable you to dine al fresco. The master bedroom upstairs has a huge en suite bathroom and a spacious balcony off it, with fantastic views of the pool and garden. Let the kids play in the pool while you sit out in the comfortable chairs and watch. There are two further double bedrooms all with balconies and bathrooms off them. The villa is ideal for families, with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during your stay.

You can enjoy the best of both worlds with this holiday. Have every facility and lively entertainment on your doorstep in Gale and Albuferia, but escape to the quiet and peacefulness of your holiday home whenever you wish.

“Excellent property as advertised”

This is a wonderful property and exactly as advertised. When we stayed, there were only 3 of the 9 houses that share the communal garden and pool occupied, so it was pretty quiet - just what we wanted. With south facing private garden and balcony you get the sun all day. We didn't hire a car and this is advisable if you are planning to do lots of sightseeing. The nearest beach (Armachao de Perla) is approx 40 minutes walk away but taxis are fairly cheap and we found a reliable company that we used throughout the week's holiday. There are beautiful unspoilt beaches at Gale (again only a short taxi ride away). The nearest supermarket is Aldi about 10 minutes walk from the house. I would highly recommend this property and am planning to return in the future. Contact response from the owner prior to booking was excellent.

“A taste of paradise in the Algarve”

Our holiday here in July 2011 was fantastic. The Villa and location was way above our expectations. After being blown away with the luxury of the villa, we were greeted outside with the most beautiful pool and gardens. Whether you are here with family to enjoy a quiet holiday or with friends to play some golf, you are guaranteed a fantastic time. The beach,golfclub and shopping are only minutes away by car. There is a choice of excellent restaurants locally and the larger town of Albufeira is only minutes away. Quinta da S.Sebastio is calling us again for 2012. We just cant wait to go back!

“Perfect getaway with everything you would need with a young family”

We have rented this property on several occasions and it is perfect for a peaceful holiday with family. The house is modern, extremely well equipped and is safe and secure within a gated complex. You would need a car as it is situated in a lovely little village, about 30 mins from the airport. The pool is lovely and clean, the beach is 10 min drive away and there are a couple of lovely little restaurants within 2/3 mins walk.
