Description

La Luce del Pomeriggio is a studio in Trulli, part of a trulli guest house, with independant entrance and a private outdoor area facing the charming countryside around.
The dwelling has thick stone walls, cones and high stonemade arches, like a mosaic, with each block made by hand from rough rock to tell the patience, the skill and hard work of past peasants. As it was once, furniture, doors and windows are made of local oak, large original locks still in perfect condition, as if to guard and preserve the charm of the trulli, World Heritage Site.
The interiors of these trulli are unusually large and bright. The atmosphere is charming, the effect of "nest in stone" and the internal temperature always nice, make the rooms cozy and unique.

Outdoor tables and benches are blocks of stone, perfect in the stunning and unspoilt landscape around; nature, its colors, its sounds and its light, is a great mistress of the house. Staying in the Luce del Pomeriggio can be comparable to a fantastic journey through time among the rural landscape and the enchanting architecture typical of trulli.
There isn't a pool, there was not even 200 years ago. Waking up in the morning in an old building Unesco World Heritage Site, between the magnificent forms of carved stone and the gentle sounds of nature that can be seen through the windows, it is certainly one of the most enjoyable ways for our guests to experience a new day of Italian vacation.Neverthless, the trulli lay few km far from Alberobello and other interesting places, such as the Castellana caves or the Fasano zoo. They are also halfway between the beautiful beaches of the Ionian and Adriatic sea. You can experience the surrounding villages too, as Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Martina Franca with its baroque style, or Ostuni, the white town.

A stay in this beautiful home is a relief from the stress and noise of modern civilization, letting civilization, for a time, waiting for us.
