Beautiful climate hot summers and mild winters visit (www.AccuWeather.com) for Akbuk Turkey.
Akbuk is a hassle free fishing village with warm and friendly people and many scenic walks along the foreshore with restaurants dotted along the way to sit and watch the world go by ( much less expensive than the bigger resorts). A 20 minute drive away is Lake Bafa Naturel Park surrounded by mountainous terrain and hosts many bird species, and again lots of history in the area.
There are lots of bays to discover and enjoy and a short drive into the mountains 10 minutes away from the villa opens another world of beautiful scenery and more bays with local fish restaurants. Altinkum is a short inexpensive bus ride away if you want a livelier and energetic atmosphere, there you can book many excursions by land and sea. Akbuk harbour has a selection of boat trips daily.

"Gorgeous and relaxing"
Villa is a short walk from the beach and restaurants, so you don't need a car. The property is fresh, clean and spotless - finished and kept to a high standard. The town market is a 10 minute walk away - a fun morning out. Ephesus is within reach for a day trip, too. We were picked up at and dropped off from the airport with ease and Yolanda arranged a car hire at a good rate. She and Nigel were on hand to help with advice on things to do and should anything need attention. Highly recommended.

"A perfect antidote to rain-soaked Britain"
Six of us went and all six wanted an extra week. The villa was great-all you would want. spacious bedrooms with terraces, great bathrooms and blessed air-con to soothe you to sleep. The villa lacked for nothing and the pool and outside spaces were wonderful. Nigel and Yolande were very friendly and welcoming and helped to make our stay as pleasant as possible-perfect hosts. The pool was cleaned magically every day and fresh water bottles replaced as needed. Akbuk was gentle and pretty along the bay. Plenty of places to eat, shops supermarkets and most else besides. There were lots of things to do in the surrounding area- boat trips, walking and amazing historical sights. If you need time out, this is a special place to take it.

I would like to say thank you to Nigel and Yolande for the excellent service they have provided during our stay. The house was really was immaculate and so was the pool. We had an excellent time during our stay.

Our family of 6 stayed at the Mis-a-Mi Villa in June 2011, the villa was fantastic with every item needed just like home from home. The villa has a private pool which was great and was maintained on a daily bases by Nigel. We cannot fault the service that was given, on one or two occasions we required some assistance which was responded very quickly and dealt with, thanks AGAIN. We have been to Akbuk many times so we were aware the villa location as it’s just a 10 minute stroll to main area where you can find local bars and restaurants, the prices are much lower in Akbuk than the main tourist area of Altinkum, plus you get a better service as well. Ask Yolande or Nigel for some good places to eat if you’re not sure where to go, there are so many to choose from. Many thanks for great stay in your villa from Adrian, Jill, Nadine, Paul, Charlie and Maureen, would we stay again? 100% yes, would we recommend the Villa? 100% absolutely Adrian

"A really wonderful villa for a holiday."
We were so impressed with villa Mis a Mi and it exceeded all our expectations. The villa itself was spotless, airy and spacious. The facilites i.e. kitchen and bathrooms were very well equiped and of a high standard. We met the owners, who made us very welcome and were very helpful in suggesting various places on interest to visit. The pool was cleaned every day so we had no worries about having a dip to cool off !. We didn't hire a car as there is a bus stop at the end of the road and the buses are frequent and will stop for you where ever you are on the road - so that was a wonderful bonus. As for the sea front, which is a few minutes walk away, it is so lovely with plenty of places to eat and drink. There is a harbour too and there are plenty of boat trips, which are really cheap and include a simple lunch. The boat stops at several places, so that you can have a swim if you wish. A wonderful day out for very little money ! All in all, we had a truely wonderful holiday and will be returning to Mis a Mi.

"We had abrilliant week, very relaxing and look forward to our next stay at mis-a-mi."
We have stayed at mis-a-mi a few times now and have never been disappointed. The villa is spotlessly clean and maimtained to a very high standard throughout. We enjoyed the pool, which is always cleaned regularly. The villa is about 30 mins from Altinkum by bus, where there is a lovely beach. Akbuk is very quiet and has a few shops, chemists etc, indeed all you require will be easily found in Akbuk.

We had a lovely 10 days in this villa. The location for us was ideal - close to the beach, harbour and town but not in the middle of it, nice and quiet and not on a tourist complex. Akbuk is a 'real' Turkish town with just the right element of tourism - ie, mostly independent travellers rather than high volume package holidays. The harbour is pretty and has plenty of day trips on offer. The villa is great, clean, as it was described, and Nigel and Yolande were very helpful, including arranging our transfers. Our children were 11 and 9 at the time and both good swimmers - as with most of these villas with private pool the pool is not fenced off, so wouldn't be good for very young children - and indeed the owners don't recommend it for that.
