Our factory built VW California's are like a home on the road, we have a 6 speed manual gearbox or DSG model available, both with cruise control, Bluetooth, CD/radio, iPod aux, driver and passenger airbags, front and rear parking sensors, electric front windows, rear tinted windows, front heated seats, climate control, auxiliary cabin heater and much more…

The pop top roof rises at the press of a button, opening and closing electronically and powered by hydraulics, ensuring there’s no hassle when you want to create additional head space or set up the upper bed for the evening. Not only does the raised roof allow you to stand tall but also cook with added ease or prepare for a good night’s sleep. In addition the driver and passenger seats swivel allowing further space to move, relax or dine in comfort.

The California's seat and sleep four. By simply pulling forward the bench seat, folding down the seat back the cabin bed is then laid out which is comfortable for two. The upper bed can then be lowered into place for an additional two adults or kids – you’ll be fighting over who sleeps up high for the views through the roof canvas windows!

Blackout blinds either pull down or are attached for privacy and there is a safety net that can be fitted to stop young children falling from the upper bed.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with a two ring gas hob (gas provided), sink, 42 litre open top fridge, two cupboards and pull out table which are integrated neatly. Plenty of lighting, 12 and 230v sockets and on-board water (30 litre tank) plus an on-board waste water tank make cooking and dining as easy as being at home. All crockery, glassware, kitchen utensils and cutlery are provided to ensure you have an enjoyable dining experience for the duration of your stay.

Further storage is provided by the small but perfectly formed wardrobe, cupboard with shelves, rear overhead storage compartment and under seat drawer.

For cooler weather the van’s control panel turns on the heater keeping the cabin at a comfortable temperature chosen by you.

And if you’re lucky enough to experience some of our Scottish fair weather pull out the compactly stored table and chairs, roll out the awning and relax taking in the views with some shade.
