Description

Central but fairly quiet location, 2 minute walk to main shopping streets and 3-4 minute walk to beach, bars and restaurants. Top floor apartment (5th floor) in a small block of 10 apartments. Large & modern home from home with 'high end' furnishings and facilities, light and airy with a view of Aguilas castle from the balcony and lounge/diner. The castle is a 10-15 minute stroll away.

Front south facing small balcony is in the sun most of the day. It's a great place to start the day with breakfast, eat lunch or chill with a glass of wine in the evening. Wind out sunshades over the balcony and front windows one of which is a patio door with railings.

Comfortable sofas, tv, dvd, surround sound & I Pod dock. Good size dining table and chairs. Fully equipped kitchen with large selection of crockery, pots, pans and utensils. There is a washing machine on the outside back utility balcony with a small wall mounted drying rack and a sink/drainer.

Bathrooms have large showers with bespoke Italian glass enclosures, hand basin and toilet with adequate storage and towel rails.

Main entrance door to building with door entry system, pram/disabled access to lift.

Child friendly, a travel cot, bed side, baby bath and baby crockery and utensils are available together with plastic child's table and chair.

Bed linens, towels, beach towels and complimentary toiletries are provided.

Aguilas is a very typical Spanish seaside town, with a fishing fleet, 3 marinas, 3 large bays with beaches of mixed sand/shingle, a beautiful town square with a church, bars, restaurants and a fountain. It's still relatively 'off the beaten track' for mass tourism and as such retains it's charming character. The beach nearest the apt has a pedestrian promenade with bars and restaurants and runs along to the 4* hotel which has a spa, marina, mini golf and padel court.

There are lots of things to see and do and to suit all ages; Fishing museum/aquarium, castle visit, windmills with visitor centre, watersports, shopping centre at Aguilas Plaza, lots of local shops, supermarkets, bars & restaurants.

Historical Lorca with it's Castle and Parador are within 20 minutes drive.

Good motorway access to other resorts along the Costa Calida & Costa Almeria. By car; 55 minutes to San Javier airport, 1.1/2 hrs to Alicante airport and 1 hr to Almeria airport. Trains run 3 times a day to Lorca and Murcia & Alicante and there is a good bus service to Lorca, Cartagena, Murcia & Alicante.

The Region of Murcia region

Aguilas is a typical Spanish seaside town with a fishing fleet and dock. There are 3 Marinas, 3 large bays with beaches of sand and shingle. A beautiful traditional Town Square which the locals call 'The Glorieta'! It has a church, bars, restaurants and a central fountain and garden area.

Still relatively 'off the beaten track' from mass tourism, Aguilas has managed to maintain its charm and character.

The beach nearest to the apartment has a pedestrian promenade with bars and restaurants and if you walk to the end there is a 4* hotel with a Spa, Mini Golf and Padel Court

There are lots of things to see and do including a Fishing Museum/Aquarium, Castle visit, 2 Windmills with visitor centres, watersports, & shopping centre.

Aguilas

Residential area in a central location, fairly quiet. 2 minute walk to main shopping streets, bars and restaurants. 5 minute walk to main square and a 10-15 minute walk to the castle. 3-4 minute walk to nearest beach.
