Description

The Maisonette is specious, very clean with all amenities for a family stay. It is located 10min walk from the beach at a quiet location. There is a master double bedroom and a second bedroom with a small double (1.1x1.93m) on the first floor. Also a bathroom with bath top on this level.

On the ground floor is a spacious kitchen-living area with dining table and a sofa bed that becomes a comfortable bed for one. There is also a smart TV in the living room with complementary netflix. A baby cot is available on request to sleep a child up to 36 months old.

The house has been equipped with appliances ideal for a family (washing machine, large fridge, oven, dish washer, microwave). There is air-con in all rooms.

It is located 10 min walk from the beach of the bay of Agia Pelagia, 25 km from Heraklion. The bay is protected by wind making it very attractive for families. The beach is organised with water sports, lifeguard, showers, and a PADI diving centre.

A range of local restaurants, bars and cafes are along the coast ready to accommodate locals and tourists. Mini markets, pharmacy and a medical centre; are all within easy reach.

Getting around

You can walk around the village and there are buses to Heraklion, Chania, Rethymnon. If you need a taxi from/to the airport, I can arrange this, the price is around £35, but I'll ask specifically if you want me to. The best way to see Crete is by car and Agia Pelagia is a great location to explore Crete. There are local agencies that rent cars or/and I can recommend one if you ask. There are also excursions organised from local tourist agencies.

Interaction with guest

If I am in Crete you will see me on check-in, but in general you will be left slone to enjoy your holiday. There are chances that you will not interact with me at all other than email or phone. You receive the house clean, but I will not provide cleaning during your stay There in a key lock for self check-in
