Villa Alkistis is located in the scenic area of the village Aghia Paraskevi just 8,5 km from the historical town of Rethymno (Crete).

Idyllically positioned in a peaceful full of trees hill, Alkistis offers a panoramic view to the sea and the mountains, Psiloritis and Vrisinas. The sweet singing of birds from the sunrise until the late afternoon will musically caress your ears and according to the fresh air will accompany the hours of relaxing.

The surrounding olive woods and aromatic plants give to the visitor the sense of seclusion and privacy, and let him enjoy his staying far away from noise looking at the sea, the mountains and the stars.

Alkistis is a new building villa surrounded of olive groves and wild plants. It is a lovely family house, about 110 sqm, with a private swimming pool and it is suitable for 6-8 persons.

With its relaxed welcoming atmosphere, villa has been build and furnished to a comfortably high standard on two floors and offers fantastic views over the villages, the hills and the nearby sea.

On the ground floor there is the living area with fireplace, TV., dining table- chairs and with pretty sofas (one can be used as double bed). There is also a full-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge and oven and there is one wide bedroom with double bed too. In the bathroom of this floor you will also find a douse cabin and the washing machine. The living room and the kitchen have doors leading to the veranda near the swimming pool, where you will enjoy your swimming, the sun and the full of stars evenings.

We will go up to the stairs to the first floor, where you will find two bedrooms with two beds in each of them and a pretty bathroom. Two doors lead to an excellent veranda with a panoramic view to the sea and the mountains.

You will walk into this property and you will see the barbeque and the swimming pool with the surrounding garden. We must say that the two verandas are equipped with comfortable wooden garden- furniture, but you will also find sun beds and sun umbrellas into the grass- garden which surrounds the house. The short stone walls around the villa give the sense of seclusion and privacy to all guests.

As it mentioned on the page of our villa in Tripadvisor, our property "is hosted by a private host (consumer)". So according the greek law we are not allowed to clean the house during the guests staying but only before their arrival and we are not allowed to offer services like hotels. We can only offer linens on the day of they arrival, but we are not allowed to wash them while guest's staying in the house, as the hotels do. These guests during first days of their staying they were very excited with the villa. Then they asked us for cleaning the house e.t.c. and, although we explained to them how the situation was, they were insisting that it was our obligation to do all these. So we believe that this review is a result of their denial to accept the terms of their staying. Of course in the house there are washing machine, vacuum cleaner, mop, broom, drying loft and iron. During 14 years this was the only bad experience we had and anyone can read all reviews for our villa and he will see how satisfayeted our guests are.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Nikos (the owner) a message.

If Nikos (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
