Its award winner architect has come up with a design, for a luxury, yet easy-going, country home that combines traditional elements, (like wide stone walls, exposed wooden beams), with modern ones (like folding glass panels, interior light wells, lookout decks at each floor) to offer residents the sense of being secure and cozy, while open to enjoy the panoramic views and the docile Cretan climate – the best there is!

Standing on its 4000 m2 of olive groves, with 12 x 3,5 m private pool, the villa is located at an idyllic countryside spot of Nea Kydonia, from where it's just 10 min drive to Chania town, and 800 m to Kalamaki' sea, with many sandy beaches nearby.

What previous guests have loved most was the feeling of spaciousness, the communication and free lines of vision that the light wells allowed, the opportunity to enjoy being outdoors at the patio, the dinning terrace and the pool, the décor's equilibrium of earthly colours and materials with aluminium and modern fitting.

The villa is situated on its own, gently slopping, one-acre land, tucked among olive trees with open west view towards a low hill with olive and grapes groves and the north coast.

Although only 5 km away from Chania town it offers an away from it all peace, within walking distance - 400m away - from Kalamaki small harbor and its fishing boats and small beach. From there, one can walk east to Kalamaki resort which boasts a number of sheltered sandy beaches, mini markets, as well as seafront tavernas along the gently shelving beach. Stalos is 1 km west with its long sandy beach and numerous tourists' shops and eating-places.

You can use the villa as a base to explore ancient, rural and modern Crete, or simply to relax by the pool and allow the place's magic, restore your energy.

But then it's only 10 min drive to Hania, (a town that stays alive even in winter), where you can enjoy a rich night life, good food, shops and market places.
