Very Good

“Fantastic cottage, perfect location with great access to coastal walks & beaches”

Reviewed 19 Apr 2018

Great location for visiting lovely beaches, perfect for dark sky star gazing. Lovely meals locally at Piping School Cafe and Summer Isles Hotel. Cottage has everything needed, great quality facilities. Perfect for dogs.

Owner's reply: Many thanks for taking the time to leave such a lovely review! We hope we can welcome you back to Diabaig another time.

“A place to relax, walk, and, if you are brave, swim in breathtaking surroundings.”

Reviewed 3 Sep 2017

Diabaig (situated in Achiltibuie) had everything you need and more. A well equipped kitchen for eating at home and a comfortable conservatory to stare out over the bay across to the Summer Isles whilst watching the light change as the day progresses. A perfect place for walkers, cyclists, swimmers and lovers of tranquillity. A sandy bay, just a short walk from the house, provides a perfect place for a swim at the end of the day. We saw countless seals, an eagle and a basking shark all in 7 days on our numerous walks. You can leave the car and walk all day and see a different landscape each time. The village store and three very good eateries are all within walking distance of the house. a true place to unwind and shed any woes.

Owner's reply: So glad you were able to make full use of everything Diabaig & the beautiful Coigach peninsula have to offer, many thanks for your positive review.
