You are surrounded by O'Keeffe Painting Views, The actual mountains that Georgia O'Keeffe painted are viewed from your Casita. Many other homes, you need to drive at least 30 minutes to even come close to our onsite views. 5 minute drive to Abiquiu Village, Bode's Store, O'Keeffe Home Tour, Abiquiu Inn. 20 minutes to Ghost Ranch, 30 minutes to Ojo Caliente Hot Springs.

It's your very own Casita (Small house in Spanish!) Your Casita has 2 separate entrances. We live in our main house next door and are only around when you need us, We keep a very low profile and are not intrusive, as our many guests have mentioned on our many reviews. We are around for questions of the area, if you need anything in the Casita (It is fully equipped, no amenity overlooked) We allow our guests complete privacy, but of course if you ever want to chat, we love chatting and meeting our guests, showing you our property and introducing you to all of our animals. We also respect our guests privacy and there are times we don’t see our guests at all. So many of our guests come back year after year and so many are now very close friends of ours.

Our guests love the solitude and the sound of silence here, In case you need city necessities, we provide the following: Complimentary High Speed Wireless Internet , Unlimited Phone Free Long Distance, No calling cards necessary! and Satellite TV - over 200 channels. Bose Soundtouch Bluetooth Speaker to play your music, great sound all throughout home. Cell phones work well at our Casita.

2 Bedrooms - for 2 couples. Living Room Sofa for 5th person, with removable side & back cushions. Extra pillows, sheets, blankets & comforters. Larger Master Bedroom with sitting area, Sitting-sunset viewing area with covered Portal for comfortable Sunset watching. Large Fireplace in Bedroom, All set and ready to light! Queen Bed with 600 thread count sheets, Fluffy Down comforters & Down pillows and Fluffy Hypo Allergenic feather bed topped mattresses and beautiful colorful Pendleton Blankets. 2nd bedroom with Double Bed and with same type of quality bedding. Full bath (tub/shower).

Your stay includes Breakfast provisions for the whole duration of your stay! No need to go out for breakfast! Includes-Organic Fair Trade Coffee & Decaf Beans and Organic Ground Coffees. We home roast our coffee beans daily for our guests! Assorted Herbal and Organic Chai & Teas, Lemons, Local Honey, Organic Half-Half, Coconut Milk & Almond Milk, Organic Jams, Jellies, Farm Fresh Organic Eggs, Butter, Artisan Breads for Toast and/or French toast, Pancake-Waffle Mixes and Real Maple Syrup! Fly into Albuquerque Airport - 2 hour drive or smaller Santa Fe Airport (Less flights) 1 hour drive to Abiquiu.

Interaction with guest

My private home is located next door. I'm around only when you need me for anything or have questions regarding the home, the property and the Abiquiu area. Some guests like to interact, some don't. It's up to you. Sometimes I never see my guests, sometimes we see each other every day. Many of my guests come back year after year and many I'm very good friends with.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
