A beautiful homely cabin, standing in 1.2 acres of stunning Welsh countryside with views across the surrounding hills and farmland, available 10.5 months of the year including Christmas and new year. The cabin sleeps 6 and comprises of a lounge with a feature log burner and plasma television, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double bed settee. The property has recently been fully refurbished to a high standard. Central heating and a fully fitted kitchen including a dishwasher. The property has a prepayment metre for the electricity, the cabin is surrounded on all sides by large open plan composite decking and barbecue/chimenea area. The 1.2 acres are for the sole use of the occupier, with a large pond in the grounds with a beautiful decked dinning island in the middle of it, thus providing a unique and tranquil opportunity to relax in beautiful surroundings.

We have hi-speed Unlimited Wifi available - £5.00-£7.00 per stay (extra if required) highly recommended due to poor network signals

We have just purchased "Roku" TV, its basically internet based TV for programmes from all over the world, including Youtube ( look at "Roku TV" online and on Youtube to get an idea of how good it is.

The cabin is 1.9 miles to the centre of Abegele and all other amenities including a Library, Parks, shops, bars, restaurants,take-aways and a large supermarket. Pensarn railway station and beach are a short walk from the town centre. Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Rhos on Sea and Conway are all just 15 minutes drive away.

“Wish I was still there....”

Had a great week at Meysydd Derw. Good location being close to Abergele and the A55 for exploring North Wales and beyond and yet felt a million miles away in the countryside. Cows and sheep in adjacent fields and being close to an A road wasn't an issue, if anything it was nice not to have to navigate winding narrow lanes to get anywhere (its not busy either). The cabin was a home from home, plenty of space and your own sweeping gravel drive! Yes the floors creak and bounce but that was all part of the charm, great both inside and out and it has everything you would want. We certainly hope to be back one day.

We stayed for the week at the end of August. We had an excellent stay, the cabin is set in its own grounds, absolutely beautiful. It is very well equipped for your stay. We enjoyed bbq in the evening sun and the owner was very helpful throughout our stay. I strongly recommend this place, very relaxing and tranquil!!!!!!

“Outdoor space is amazing”

Visited from the 5th Aug for 7 nights and the amazing points are the outdoor space. The garden and seating is fab as was the trampoline for the kids! We were very lucky with the weather and spent a lot of time outside on the rocking chairs watching the kids play with some very luxury blankets (nice touch) and the log burner. The road can be quite noisy with tractors but it can be zoned out. The points made previous are true. The floor was a bit of a pain as I wake early and trying to get past the children's room without waking them was hard and I never achieved it!! So the days started early! The heating and hot water was fab and on demand and quick. The dishwasher was a godsend but I definitely missed a washing machine but I did know this before. I ended up buying a brush as I am quite a clean freak and by day 2 there was grass in the living room which was driving me mad!! All in all a lovely quiet cabin and I would return for a weekend but not a week. Abergele is ok but just use the cabin as a base and explore. Doors as mentioned before don't fit the doors but this is not a major problem and I can see the owner has explained why this is the case. I found the owner very approachable and very helpful with 2 queries I had so thank you! Don't let some very small negatives put you off. The area is beautiful and we found the cabin clean and well stocked for our needs. Thank you for a lovely week in your cabin, I will be recommending. Some points : £15 will do you for electricity and we had 2 kids charging everything! Take slippers due to the floor.
