“Lovely spacious cottage”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2019

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Armoury. Well equipped and spacious cottage. Loved sitting/cooking/eating in the sunroom looking out to the large garden throughout the day before retreating to the cosy lounge at night. Rosemary was very helpful with directions etc and ensuring the cottage was nice and cosy for our arrival. Excellent area too! Will definitely be back!!

Owner's reply: Thank you Lisa glad you had A good time thank you for leaving the cottage so immaculate will be happy to welcome you back again

“A fabulous retreat!”

Reviewed 13 Apr 2018

My wife and I have had a lovely two weeks stay in this peaceful and quiet cottage. It was exactly what we needed to 'recharge our batteries'! Situated near the centre of Aberfeldy, it is an easy walk into all its amenities. The sun room was brilliant during the daytime to sit and read or relax while watching the wildlife in the spacious garden. Unfortunately we could not sit outside as the weather wasn't quite good enough! During the evening we would retire to the cosy living room. Aberfeldy is situated in the centre of Perthshire so a brilliant location to travel out from with some truly stunning scenery. Rosemary, the owner, couldn't have been more attentive and was always available for any questions we had, a real pleasure to speak to. For the price we paid we count ourselves lucky to have found this perfect cottage. We will miss our restful time here but hope to return again soon.

Owner's reply: Many thanks , a real pleasure to have you stay. Safe onward travels and haste ye back .

“Fantastic”

Reviewed 26 Mar 2017

On behalf of my husband and I would like to thank you for being so kind to allow Carol to bring us here to your ideal holiday cottage. We have never been to Aberfeldy before but we were very impressed with the village atmosphere and the peace and quietness in the area when in the garden last night. Thank you so much and hope to meet you sometime in the future. Isabel Begg

Owner's reply: Thank you Isabel glad you enjoyed it. Aberfeldy and surrounding area has so much to offer . Haste Ye back.

“Don't hesitate its a great place and location.”

Reviewed 5 Jun 2013

The owner could not have been more helpful or understanding. We were even allowed to start our holiday 2 days early, making 9 nights in total. The Armoury was as described, a couple of things could be added to improve the kitchen equipment (especially for 5 people) and a few bulbs need replacing as they are too high to reach! But other than those very minor quibbles it was a heavenly stay. Great location, walkable to the supermarket, brilliant butchers, great pubs and of course this town and its surrounding area is breath-taking. We will certainly want to book this again next year and hopefully enjoy another 9 days of hot and sunny weather (in fact there wasn't one drop of rain for the whole holiday). Thanks again Rosemary and see you again next year.

“Excellent accommodation. Secluded but in a central location.”

Reviewed 14 May 2012

A fascinating spacious house steeped in local history. Wonderful kitchen area with huge bright extension overlooking large enclosed mature garden. Secluded from main road but very central for all necessary holiday amenities. Surrounding area has beautiful scenery and many interesting locations to visit. Our favourite - The Scottish Crannog Centre on Loch Tay. Numerous outdoor acitivities readily available. Owner is extremely helpful and provided several good recommendations regarding restaurants, shopping etc. We plan to return.

“A spacious comfortable holiday home”

Reviewed 3 Nov 2011

Located in Aberfeldy near to excellent eating places and a good variety of shops, the house is spacious and well equipped with a large enclosed rear garden. A new Community Campus is to the rear of the property. There are walks from the door and 2 Munros are easily accessible for the more adventurous as well as lovely drives into the mountains and glens.
