“delightful base”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2016

It was a great cottage and a few tweaks would make it perfect. There was a lot of cobwebs but clean. The bathroom was very small and a large person would have great difficulty in getting into the shower as the sink is in the way and also to get around the bed in the bedroom was only about 10 inches, with a wardrobe in the way!!. It was advertised as doorstep coastal path but the actual coastal path is at least 1.5 miles away!!! Great base for golf courses at Nefne, Pwllheli and Abersoch which are all fantastic courses to play. Great restaurant 'Dylan's' at Criccieth on the beach, well worth a visit.

Owner's reply: Thank you for booking with Best of Wales. It is a great base for all that North Wales has to offer and there is a great choice of golf courses. Pwllhelli is a really interesting mix of parkland and links which is a great test and amazing views as well. You might want to play Royal St David's next time and the views along the coast are pretty special there. We will ensure that the comment about cobwebs is noted and checked again. Similarly we will look again at the distance to the Coastal Path and ensure we are accurate with the measurements. Best wishes Suzanne - Best of Wales Team
