This is a two bedroom cabin which sleeps 4/5, with a double bedroom, twin bedroom and single mattress for a 5th person if required. Free parking is close to the cabin. The walk from the parking to the cabin is on the flat. Completely non-smoking. A beautiful shower room with a white modern suite and stone coloured tiles. Modern well equipped kitchen. with a fridge (small freezer box inside), microwave oven, double electric oven, gas hob, washing machine, tumble dryer and open plan dining room with table. There is a flat screen TV with Freeview, DVD and CD/Radio. A South-West facing conservatory captures the last rays of the sun with views over the Dovey estuary.Hilltop chalet occupies

A South-West facing conservatory captures the last rays of the sun with views over the Dovey estuary.Hilltop chalet occupies a very favourable position, facing south west and enjoying lovely views of the countryside and estuary. It is very peaceful and it is very unlikely that anyone will walk in front of it.Wildlife visitors include a variety of birds, squirrels and badgers. In excess of 35 bird species have been spotted from the comfort of the cabin! Quilts and pillows are provided. Hilltop chalet is indeed on top of a hill. The road to the chalet is on an incline and is more of a track than a road in places. Bed linen can be provided at an extra cost of £13 for the double bed, £16.50 for the double bed and 1 single bed or £20 for the double bed and 2 single beds. Please bring towels and tea towels. Electricity is extra - about £1-£2 per day but gas is free. The water supply is private but we have a UV filter fitted. Please bring bottled water for drinking. Aberdovey is the jewel in the crown of Cardigan Bay in mid-Wales. A stunning sandy beach, numerous activities and a micro climate all of its own make Aberdovey a very special place. Those who are regular vIsitors are drawn into coming back year after year and those who experience Aberdovey for the first time are taken back by its beauty and relaxed pace of life.Aberdovey village centre is a five minute drive away from the cabin or take the scenic route and walk over the hills!There are many visitor attractions close by including King Arthur's Labrynth - Found deep beneath the mountains of Southern Snowdonia in the village of Corris, King Arthur's Labyrinth is one of the most mysterious visitor attractions in Mid Wales. Join your hooded Dark Age boatman and sail underground, through a waterfall and back across a thousand years. Submersed in the darkest of the Dark Ages, enjoy tales of King Arthur and other ancient Welsh legends as you explore the dramatic underground caverns and winding tunnels of the Labyrinth. A fun day out for all the family whatever the weather. The Centre for Alternative Technology - CAT is an education and visitor centre which demonstrates practical solutions for sustainability. We cover all aspects of green living: environmental building, eco-sanitation, woodland management, renewable energy, energy efficiency and organic growing.The Talyllyn Railway is a historic narrow-gauge steam railway, set in the beautiful Mid-Wales countryside. Running from Tywyn to Abergynolwyn and Nant Gwernol, the line passes the delightful Dolgoch Falls and there are excellent forest walks at Nant Gwernol.Animalarium – A small zoo found between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth. The Animalarium offers a home to unwanted zoo animals and exotic pets.
