“Elaine is a lovely lady and tries to do everything she can to make your stay nice”

Reviewed 7 Mar 2014

We rented the flat from Elaine who is a lovely lady. She tries to make your stay as nice as possible. It is very cheap to rent. The bedrooms were very nice with all new bedding and towels. The living room is spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. The thing that we had a problem with was the shower. It stayed tepid until you took the shower head off the wall. As we were only there a few days we made do. We travelled by car so parking was a big problem. The car park across the road would have cost us £14 per day (max 14 hours) if left there. We had to keep moving the car between there and park on the the street at night, but we had to go before 8am to move it or put a ticket on it. If we went back we would probably go by train as it is so close to Union Street. Overall it was ok.

Hi Heather, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in the flat and thank you for responding to the review request, I will take all of your comments on board. The flat is good value for money and as I say "it's a work in progress" I'm looking at replacing the shower as soon as possible, as for the parking unfortunately there's no easy answer. It was lovely to meet you both and hope you will come visit us again in the near future. Kind Regards Elaine.

“A most wonderful stay”

Reviewed 19 Feb 2014

We had a most wonderful stay at the apartment. The owner, Elaine, is absolutely amazing. She provided us with everything, I mean literally everything, that we ever need to make our stay enjoyable. The apartment is clean, comfortable and really nice. Moreover, it is located within 5-10 minutes of walking distance to Union Street which is a shoppers' haven and also to the Music Hall, The Art Gallery etc. We have no hesitation at all in recommending this apartment to anyone traveling to Aberdeen.

Morning Helen, So glad you enjoyed your stay in the apartment, hope your daughter passed her exam. Thank you for your lovely gift and look forward to welcoming you back again. Kind Regards Elaine.
