Description

A warm welcome is guaranteed at the Lodge, a detached property close to the superb beach of Penllech. Renovated recently, the Lodge now boasts full double glazing & is warmed by a Gazco Clarendon cast iron stove, making it a perfect base for all year round holidays and short breaks. Situated within walking distance of the beach and seasonal beach café/shop at Porth Colmon, the area around the property is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The property sleeps 5, in 2 double bedrooms and a single all with fitted furniture. The shower room (installed in 2015) boasts a shower cubicle, toilet and vanity washhand basin - heated towel rail. The kitchen is well maintained with larder style fridge/freezer, new cooker and microwave. The lounge has large colour tv with freeview, dvd, stereo, books, games & dvds. The gardens are well maintained, private and back onto open farmland and a small woodland. The Lodge is approached down a long driveway making it an ideal safe location for children and dogs with no passing traffic. Closeby is the pretty whitewashed village of Aberdaron while Abersoch and Morfa Nefyn are only a short drive away and all offer an array of attractions – such as restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. The National Trust owned beach at Whistling Sands is 5 minutes away and is a beautiful beach well worth exploring further. Fishing, cycling, horse riding, sailing, windsurfing and walking are all possible close by the property and we can offer a variety of bikes for our guests to use. Snowdonia & the surrounding areas of Beddgelert, Betws y Coed and Caernarfon are within an hours drive and are well worth taking a day out to visit and explore. We also have onsite kennelling, stabling and grazing and can provide extra parking for boats and trailers on request. Dogs are welcome. Non smokers only please. Gas included, electricity generous supply included. All bed linen is provided. Our first visit to North Wales Brilliant location if your after a total relaxed holiday Our accommodation The Coach House was lovely and clean and super cosy and secure for our three parson terriers what a pleasure to stay there Beach was only a short walk away and totally peaceful and beautiful our dogs loved every minute as soon did I and my partner weather was mostly good but such a peaceful location even when it rained still explored surrounding area and mostly deserted clean beaches will definitely be returning as my partner even proposed on the beach perfect holiday well worth visiting a thank you To Stephen and Terry for making us so welcome

My husband, Daughter (age 13) and myself had the most relaxing enjoyable holiday any family could ask for. We were made to feel very welcome and on my birthday very important. The chalet was as my daughter put in the visitors book 'like home' and there wasn't one thing I could possibly complain about. To wake up in the morning and gaze over Penllech was the most calming thing after a year of work!!!! I met up with my brothers (one stayed in the cottage which was a dream), Dad and cousins for a truly special holiday and booked again for next year straight away. Very tempted to book for Xmas as well. In our party we had young children as well and they loved it when they came for a BBQ or two!! What can I say it is very special and Steph and Terry were the best hosts you could wish for Hx

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
