Location description from owner

The North Wales region

Great location centrally located on the Llyn Peninsula.. peaceful and quiet and yet within a short drive to the buzz and noise of Abersoch. Aberdaron is 5 minutes away by car and offers great traditional Welsh village with super pubs serving fantastic home cooked food. The beach here is popular and clean and although gets busy in the summer there is usually a sunny spot to find. Closer to home is the stunning beach of Penllech a popular beach - dog friendly throughout the year - and offering safe bathing and paddling for all the family. There are so many things to do in the area.. surfing, sailing, fishing, cycling, riding, mountaineering, taking in the stunning views, visiting historic houses & castles, marinas and fishing village. With Anglesey and Snowdonia within an hour or two you wont be stuck for things to do and places to see and visit.

ACCESS THE WELSH COAST PATH FROM THIS PROPERTY - JUST A FEW MINUTES WALK AWAY!

Aberdaron

Llangwnadl is a rural peaceful scattered village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within a short drive of Aberdaron, Abersoch and Morfa Nefyn. Perfectly placed to enjoy these busier centres and come home to a more peaceful and laid back environment. The beaches on the North Coast are simply stunning.. very similar to Cornwall in that they are rugged and wild with rare flora and fauna.. some you can only reach by boat or a hike across the fields... perfect for finding a private beach in the middle of summer.

“This place is so special I want to keep it a secret!!”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2014

My husband, Daughter (age 13) and myself had the most relaxing enjoyable holiday any family could ask for. We were made to feel very welcome and on my birthday very important. The chalet was as my daughter put in the visitors book 'like home' and there wasn't one thing I could possibly complain about. To wake up in the morning and gaze over Penllech was the most calming thing after a year of work!!!! I met up with my brothers (one stayed in the cottage which was a dream), Dad and cousins for a truly special holiday and booked again for next year straight away. Very tempted to book for Xmas as well. In our party we had young children as well and they loved it when they came for a BBQ or two!! What can I say it is very special and Steph and Terry were the best hosts you could wish for Hx

WOW! Thank you so much for your heartwarming review... it makes it all worthwhile! Can't wait to see you all again.. the sooner the better. x
