From the manager

A stylishly converted stone barn, perfect for family and group gatherings. Part of a group of four cottages which are arranged around a central courtyard. Downstairs, there is a cosy living room space with TV, a fully equipped kitchen with dining table and chairs. Also downstairs is a bathroom (WC and shower). Upstairs, there are two areas, to the left a single and a twin room with a bathroom (bath and WC). To the right, there is a king bedroom (can be configured as a twin also) and bunk room.

Clay pizza oven, adventure playground, nature walks, ganes barn

The Old Cart House is situated on a working organic beef and sheep farm, there are acres of woodland and farmland to explore, as well as a children's playground. We have chickens so there is always a good stash of freshly laid eggs to be enjoyed throughout your stay.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
