Your search is over! You would be extremely hard pressed to find as wonderfully situated a holiday apartment as this. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in Abbeyhill on the edge of the Royal Park of Holyrood, a 650 acre array of hills, lochs, glens, trails and cliffs dominated by the famous 'Arthur's Seat' at 251m (822ft), affording panoramic views of the city but which is relatively easy to climb and very popular with hill walkers. Nearer ground level the apartment is proud to have as a near neighbour the Palace of Holyroodhouse, HM Queen Elizabeth's official residence in Scotland. The Palace is located at the foot of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, a world renowned thoroughfare with its eclectic mix of shops, pubs, eateries and visitor attractions linking the Palace at one end with Edinburgh Castle at the other. A pleasant walk of a mile takes you to Edinburgh New Town and the shopping experience of another world famous Edinburgh thoroughfare, Princes Street plus, of course Waverley Railway Station and Edinburgh Bus Station with express links to the Airport and all points beyond. Most of the Fringe and Festival venues and of course the Christmas and Hogmanay attractions are located within or close to the Royal Mile and Princes Street areas. For visitors with more energetic pursuits in mind, Meadowbank Sports Centre is only a half mile walk away, as is the Meadowbank Retail Park with a Sainsbury's superstore and other shops. The apartment is however very close to bus routes in the Abbeyhill and London Road areas which link to all parts of the city.
Tytler Gardens Apartment is a modern, well appointed two bedroom flat. It is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, on the ground floor of a well maintained building with a secure entry system, clean and tidy communal areas and free parking (via included permit). A cycle rack is available just outside the apartment. The light and airy carpeted lounge has two sofas, one of which is a sofa bed. The lounge also includes a dining table and chairs. A flat screen TV with Freeview is installed together with a DVD player. The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes an induction hob, double oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave together with ample good quality cookware, crockery, cutlery, glassware and bakeware. A toaster, kettle, teapot and cafetiere are also provided. Hand and dish towels, pot scrubbers and dishcloths are also provided in the kitchen together with detergent and cleaning fluids. Both double bedrooms are carpeted. One has a double bed and the other two singles complete with duvets, pillows, mattress and pillow protectors. Bed linen is provided. Sufficient storage and clothes hanging space is included in the wardrobes. The bathroom contains a bath and over bath shower with curtain. Ample bath and hand towels are provided. An iron and ironing board, clothes airer and hair dryer are supplied. Broadband is installed in the property. A welcome pack with supplies to get your holiday started is included.
We can accommodate parties of up to 12 people between this apartment and its sister apartment Waverley Park Apartment which is two minutes walk away in Waverley Park.

“An excellent choice”
From the time that we first inquired about availability the owners were incredibly helpful. They provided detailed instructions (with photos) of how to find the apartment, which is at the end of the Royal Mile, just around the corner from Holyrood Palace. The apartment was nicely furnished, comfortable, very clean and just right for our family visit. Highly recommended

Smart ground floor flat in great location within walking distance of Edinburgh City Center (Old and New) with easy access to public transport (bus) to explore further out. Very quiet at night. Warm with plenty of hot water and a nicely fitted out kitchen with all the utensils required to allow for home cooking. Thank you
“Wondeerful Apartment in an excellent location.”
We stayed here for 3 days and found this to be a lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and well furnished. It is in a quiet location with parking permits for 2 cars. A very short walk takes you to Holyrood Park, Holyrood Palace and The Scottish Parliament as well as being on the end of The Royal Mile with some excellent places to eat and drink and be entertained. We would have no hesitation at staying here again and there is plenty room for 6 people. We have already recommended it to friends and family.

Fantastic apartment, everything you need is privided. Extremely clean and comfortable, The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Very quiet we could not here any one else in the surrounding apartments. It was very easy to find and cost under £5.00 for five of us in a taxi to get into town at night. Owners were extremely helpful when they gave us instructions finding the apartment. Will definitely be staying here again and would recommend it to everyone who wants comfort, quietness and peace of mind .

“Clean, Cozy, Convenient and very close to city centre”
I stayed at this property with my elderly parents in Oct 2014 and I can say that they thoroughly enjoyed the stay. All rooms in the apartment were absolutely clean and very cozy. The location is quite nice as well as it provides access to local convenience stores at a stone's throw as well as a leisurely walk to the city center I would definitely recommend this to my fellow travelers.
