Waverley Park Apartment is a bright, modern, ground floor two bedroom apartment situated in a leafy cul-de-sac in the popular Abbeyhill area, close to Edinburgh city centre. Despite its central position the apartment is very quiet and peaceful due undoubtedly to its prime location right on the edge of the spectacular Royal Park of Holyrood, with its variety of hills, lochs, glens, trails and cliffs dominated by the famous Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat at 251m (822ft), affording panoramic views of the city. A very short walk through the park takes you to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, HM Queen Elizabeth's official residence in Scotland and, from there, you're just around the corner from the Royal Mile, a world renowned thoroughfare with its eclectic mix of shops, pubs, eateries and visitor attractions linking the Palace at one end with Edinburgh Castle at the other. A pleasant walk of approximately one mile from the apartment takes you to Edinburgh New Town and the shopping and sightseeing experiences of Princes Street, George Street and Queen Street plus the beautiful Princes Street Gardens and the outstanding views towards the Castle and Calton Hill. Transport links are to be found at Waverley Rail Station, the Bus Station and the Edinburgh Tram at St Andrew's Square which terminates at Edinburgh International Airport. Most of the Fringe and Festival venues and of course the Christmas and Hogmanay attractions are located within or close to the Royal Mile and Princes Street areas.

For visitors with more energetic pursuits in mind, Meadowbank Sports Centre is only a half mile walk from the apartment, as is the Meadowbank Retail Park with a Sainsbury's superstore and other shops. The apartment is also very close to bus routes in the Abbeyhill and London Road areas which link to all parts of the city, the Airport and beyond.

It is a modern well appointed apartment with two spacious bedrooms, one double with ensuite facilities and one twin room. It is situated on the ground floor of a well maintained building with a secure entry system, clean and tidy communal areas, free on street parking and an external bicycle store. The bright front-facing lounge has wood effect flooring and gas fireplace with a solid bathstone surround giving a cosy feel to the room. The lounge also includes a comfortable sofa bed for additional guests. A flat screen Smart TV with Freeview is installed. Free WiFi is available in the property.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen includes an integrated oven, electric hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave together with a dining table and sufficient chairs to seat 6. There is ample good quality cookware, crockery, cutlery, glassware and bakeware. A toaster, kettle, teapot and cafetiere are also provided. The main bathroom is set internally off the spacious hallway and is fitted with a bath and overbath shower.

The Master bedroom is carpeted and contains a comfortable double bed, bedside units and lighting and ample hanging space in the built in wardrobe. The ensuite facilities include an electric shower, vanity unit and basin. The second bedroom, also carpeted, contains comfortable twin beds with bedside cabinets and lighting and a built-in wardrobe. Good quality bed linen and towels are provided. An iron and ironing board, clothes airer and hair dryer are supplied. Broadband is installed in the property. A welcome pack with supplies to get your holiday started is included.

We can accommodate parties of up to 12 people between this apartment and its sister apartment Tytler Gardens Apartment which is two minutes walk away in Tytler Gardens.
