“A very special villa in a fantastic location” Saltamontes wowed us! The location of the villa is very private and as soon as we walked in we knew we'd picked somewhere special. The villa is traditional but with all the mod cons and very comfortable, the old and new features complement each other beautifully. We liked all the little touches around the villa making it more homely, with children's artwork in the snug/TV room through to lots of candles/lamps/cushions to create a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is large and fully equipped, all the beds were comfy and most of the bedrooms have terraces alongside them, with tables and chairs, so you could have some privacy if you needed to. One of the best features of the house is the main terrace which has spectacular views across the countryside and over to Puerto Pollensa. We were lucky enough to see the moon rise over the mountain as we sat having after dinner drinks, it was an amazing experience and it's a great place to do some stargazing. We used the terrace every night for drinks and dinner; it's a very sociable space, which works well. We all loved splashing in the pool to cool off and lazing on the sun loungers. All in all the villa is very well equipped and the owners are very helpful and easy to contact, responding quickly to any enquiry we had. We loved our week there - perfectly located to visit the Port and the Old Town, I'm looking forward to returning again!
