“sorrento holidays” Hi Carmine,
Dick and I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all you did for us during our recent vacation to Massa Lubrenese. Without your multiple skills as tour guide, chef, chauffeur, and general nanny, we would have missed out on so many wonderful experiences. Your intimate knowledge of the area and the people, and your generosity with your time was greatly appreciated. We are happy to recommend you to any and all future clients.
Additionally, you were so right about the boat to Capri. We would have missed out on so much, had we not taken your advice. We would highly recommend that trip to anyone considering it.
A couple of things that may be helpful to fellow travelers. Don't rent a car! Although the freeways around Rome are easy driving, the mountain roads in, and around amalfi, and Sorrento were truly harrowing. In the future we would have you arrange all transportation.
The other piece of information that would have helped was that pesky detail about cash. Most people wanted to be paid in cash, including the grocer, anyone associated with tours, and the ticket seller at Pompei, where you must have the exact amount of Euros for the ticket, because they don't make change!!!
Again, thank you for being available to us 24/7, we had a great trip.
Tell your beautiful wife and children hello from us, and of course Tommi, who we adored.
“A large apartment with lovely outside space and great parking” My husband and I stayed in Sant'Agata with our little boy. From the village you can access all Amalfi Coast attractions very easily.
The location of the villa is superb and just minutes to local shops and restaurants. We were greated very warmly by the family and they stayed extremely discreet throughout the stay.
The apartment was very large, well furnished and recently done up. It was absolutely spotless! The only area to improve is perhaps kitchen utensils being quite sparse.
“Fabulous Stay” This was a fantastic apartment in one of the most beautiful settings I've seen around the world. The owner, Stefania, was a superb host, providing unexpected amenities like wine, a fruit basket, and breakfast items stocked in the fridge and cupboards. The only reason we didn't rate this an excellent was because the water heater was out of gas and we did not discover it until the next morning (shower time). That was also a federal holiday. HOWEVER, the owners were right out to investigate and called for the gas company to fill the tank. Can't imagine what that must have cost them. Again, a fabulous apartment for the price. You'll need a car if you can't figure out the buses, but if you arrive by train, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
