“Rural Tranquility” Perfectly named trullo. Peaceful and quiet ant the end of a little dirt road. We had perfect weather and spent some of our time walking on the maze of back roads around the house, exploring abandoned Trulli . Other times we relaxed in our travel hammocks hung in the olive grove. There were a couple lounge chairs in the shed but we never got them out so I can't report on them. We easily explored the surrounding towns and spent a day at the sea. The house is small, as many trulli are, but we were just two and only inside to sleep and have a fire in the evening. We luckily never had to deal with dashing through the rain to get to the kitchen but I'm sure we could have coped.
“Comfortable, Superb Terraces and Great location” A very well equipped town house with comfortable furnishings and just about all you will need for your holiday. The master bedroom has a proper king size bed (at least 5ft wide) so a good night's sleep was easy, especially with virtually no noise from outside. Ideally situated for the old town with all the restaurants, bars and cafes at hand, just a 5 minute stroll down the hill. Then in the opposite direction, even closer is the park, great for an afternoon stroll and an ice cream, sitting under the shade of big old trees. A few stone steps to contend with going from floor to floor but even for me, having recently had major surgery, it was ok and I used to go and make the morning tea and bring it back down again. The star in the evenings was the top terrace, with a great view over the old town, very pleasant for a sit with a glass of wine before and after diner. All in all a memorable holiday.
