“First visit to Portugal and will definitely be returning” This was our first visit to Portugal and we definitely picked a lovely apartment, town and area. The apartment was very spacious, clean and was equipped with everything we needed for an extremely comfortable and relaxing two weeks. We were met at the apartment and given a really good intro to the apartm t, facilities and area. The kids loved the pool which wasn't busy or noisy and sometimes we had to ourselves. The area is beautiful with some lovely beaches which are accessible via boat or mini train. We hired a car and although everywhere is probably easily accessible by public transport we found it useful for trips to the supermarket and Tavira including the trip via ferry to Isla Tavira. We loved the food, delicious fish and seafood and in Santa Luzia there are plenty of restaurants to chose from. All in all a fabulous holiday.

“AMAZING VILLA IN A GREAT LOCATION” I stayed in this villa with 6 of my friends and we had a great time. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we required during our stay. I would say that a long mirror was possibly the only thing missing. The pool area was lovely that got the sun all day, and a large kitchen that provided for all of your needs. The villa was very secure with all the windows having lockable doors over the windows, so definitely felt safe. It is in a very quiet location but within a 15 minute walk to the strip and the old town of Albufeira. We all had a fab time and would recommend this villa to anyone.

“Marvelous gem close to Abufeira” Rented for 2 weeks with 3 other couples. Very comfortable and easy access to one of the best beaches in Europe. About a 20 minute walk up and down hill into town or the 'strip'. Beautiful ocean views and within earshot of the pounding surf.Have to pay extra for a 'hot' hottub and pool - not required in our case.

“An Excellent Holiday” We recently returned from the Apartment in o pomar and traveled with my wife daughter and her cousin and my elderly parents. We were looking for a "Home from Home" apartment with some quality and that is exactly what we got. We had excellent communication before we traveled with Francis and was met by Ann(the agent) on arrival who explained everything about the apartment and area very well. The apartment is obviously very new and has fantastic facilities which are all modern and easy to use. We wanted a quiet location with easy access for my parents and again this was exactly what we got. The pool area is only about 75 yards from the apartment and is very clean and safe with security access and a life guard on duty nearly all the time. it was height of the season and therefore we had to be by the pool early to get beds and as usual some visitors would lay towels but not arrive till pm which was frustrating for some people as got quite busy and especially at the weekend. The best thing though was the new restaurant (vert in ) as i have never eaten at a better restaurant abroad which offered quality food for reasonable pricing presented extremely well and in good time! i cannot recommend this place highly enough, but be warned good news spreads fast so book early each day! The beach front is about a 15 min walk or train ride for elderly and young and then you have to get a boat ride to the other side of the jetty and then it is about a 400 mtr walk which proved a little too much for my parents so we only went once. There are probably other restaurants and areas to visit but due to my parents inability to get about we just relaxed in the complex each day. the only down side was lack of on site shop but i enjoyed the 10 mins walk each day for bits and pieces as we didn't have a car. Our overall experience was great and we would definitely recommend to others looking for a quiet relaxing holiday and hope to return again.

“Best place to stay on the Algarve” Top quality accommodation in a superb house near golf courses, beach and marina. Immaculately kept pool, BBQ, terraces and gardens for for chilling privately in the sun. Hosts Trevor and Jill can not do enough for guests and ensure a wonderful welcome and local knowledge on golf, kite surfing and cycling activities. We will definitely be back!

“Lovely Apartment” Lovely well equipped apartment with a gorgeous pool view. Close to the marina with restaurants and shops within walking distance. The old town and beach were a short distance away by taxi. Sandra the property manager could not have been more helpful. Highly recommended.

“A great family apartment on a beautiful resort” We have stayed at this apartment twice now and I don't really like calling it just an apartment as it is just like heading off to your own holiday home. The accommodation has all modern conveniences and is obviously either frequently used by the owners or their family. The resort which is part of the marina development is spacious and very well laid out, one day when I needed a rest from the sun I just lay about the apartment watching TV while my wife and daughters went shopping, gr8. Satellite TV, regionalised UK channels and a media player loaded with films for adults and children, UK plug adaptors and even USB charge plugs were all provided, I could go on and on. I don't normally do reviews but on the two occasions we have stayed here we were too disorganised and rushed when leaving to write any comments in the owners visitors book so please take this review as our thanks, and we do hope to return again soon.

“Wonderful Holiday” We had a really enjoyable holiday in Villa Francesca in June 2011. The beautiful villa, the garden/pool and the tennis courts next door were all ideal for our group which included our adult children and small grandchildren. The owners were kind enough to put childproof fencing on the upstairs balcony and this, together with a gate for the stairs in the villa gave us great peace of mind during our holiday. We played some golf on the nearby courses and the charming village of Carvoiero with plenty of excellent restaurants was just a few kilometres away. We would heartily recommend Villa Francesca to any family group and we hope to stay there again in the future.

“Great set-up for a large group wishing to be close to the main strip and beach” This is an ideal place for a large group to stay, literally walking distance from the main strip and a few mins away from the beach. The 3 villas were well kept and an ideal setting to hang around in during the day before heading out for the night.

“Superb apartment in quiet picturesque location” We are a family of 5, with 3 older teens and we were blown away by the beautiful apartment and the fabulous views from the balcony. There was plenty of room even with using the bed settee as a fifth bed. The pool also was very good and we never had any issues getting sunbeds etc. It;s a shame the poolside bar/snack bar is closed as it would have been an asset but it's a quick walk to the apartment so not a problem. The one downside for us was Sao Raphael itself was a bit quiet and we found a car useful or taxi's into old town Albufeira or the marina for evenings out etc. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked a number of meals or used the BBQ on the balcony. All in all a super apartment, a beautiful resort and love the attention to detail of the little extras the owner had supplied such as sun parasols, an umbrella (I doubt it's ever used!) and lots of kitchen appliances. “perfect holiday” This apartment is exactly as described on the web site. It is a very clean, well cared for, modern, high spec apartment. The owners have made it a real home from home. They were extremely helpful in answering all our queries and in the process provided us with the holiday of our dreams. They really go out of their way to make sure that you are completely happy and satisfied with your stay there. We can't say enough good things about them. The apartment is only a few leisurely minutes from the beach with a wide variety of restaurants and wonderful golf courses near by. There is excellent shopping from luxury to very inexpensive items in the area. It is also an ideal apartment for a very relaxing sun vacation by the pool or on one of the terraces overlooking the beautiful garden. It is an ideal base, from which, to visit some of the many interesting tourist sites of the Algarve. We availed of some of the guided tours and enjoyed them very much. These tours are very informative, providing an in-depth insight into the area and its culture. We will definitely be back.

“A wonderfully, memorable experience.” My husband and I travelled with our two sons,their wives and 3 grandchildren. The villa is spacious,comfortable and homely, and because it is so spread out, over one floor, there is quite a lot of privacy. Everything you could possibly need is in the villa so we had to drag ourselves away to the beach, but that was well worth the car journey, as was Lagos for the chid friendly restaurants and interesting streets.The supermarkets are good. The little ones just loved the pool and the extensive grounds, where they played for hours safely, and later the adults relaxed, each evening, around the table by the BBQ. Magic! ( It's great that you can pay Jill in sterling in England and she is extremely helpful)

“Stunning 5* holiday experience” My family and I would thoroughly recommend this villa. It is situated in a beautiful location with stunning views. The villa itself has everything you require for a comfortable stay and the owner could not have been more helpful. The heated swimming pool was a huge hit with our children. The villa is a short walk away from a large shopping complex and other amenities. It is also a short walk away from a variety of restaurants and bars. We would love to return to this villa in the future.

“Villa Sete Albufeira” Stayed at villa Sete for 10 days. There were 5 in our party.The transfer from the airport was prompt and friendly,I would recomend anyone to use this service should they need to. We were welcomed by Jimmy, who had bought us a few essentials, which was a nice touch. he showed us around the villa, and answered our questions, explained how the safe worked, all we needed to know really. The villa was spot on, all the bedrooms were en suite,the kitchen was more than adequate for our needs, and the living area was spaceous and comfortable. There is a sky box, but no card, so we received all the UK freeview TV and radio channels. The pool is well maintained, and is a good size and depth, there are plenty of sunbeds too.The pool table is to one side, all the cues and balls were in good order, the grass isn't very green, but this is down to the fact people walk round the pool table and there's no rain. I would suggest this area be flagged or tiled, but this is not a complaint. the location is ideal, 10 mins walk to the strip or 10 mins walk to the old town. There are plenty of shops/mini markets near by for your shopping very close by, and the villa is in a cul de sac so traffic noise isn't an issue.Would definately visit villa Sete again

“Number one among all apartments we have visited during our vacations” A lovely garden of our own in the middle of Lisboa. Kitchen- and bathroome-equipments of almost new and high standard. A peaceful area in the immediate vicinity of the centre of Lisboa. Beautifully restored apartment with large and high and light rooms. A pleasant diningplace outside the apartment, in the garden. An exotic fish-aquarium with a lot of inhabitants in the middle of the verdant garden. Very near to shopping-centres and things worth seeing. Peaceful nightwalks along silent narrow streets. Friendly neighbours, willingly talking and helping us often helpneeding helpless tourists.

“Stag Doo” Absolutely fab villa within 60 seconds walk to the first bar on the main strip of the new town in Albuferia. Cannot fault it. Went with a group of 8 lads and had pleanty of room in villa. Only small niggle was the satellite TV which did not work but we didn't need this anyway.
