“Great tropical feel complex in the Algarve” Massive apartment , good wheelchair access in and around complex. The only problem would be the bathroom for some as quite small and wheelchair not able to get right in. However the rest of the apartment was fully accessible. Easy near by parking. The most amazing huge balcony with sun all day. No step anywhere.

“Excellent Location - beautiful apartment” We had a delightful stay in this immaculate and well situated apartment. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. This 2 bedroom apartment ticks virtually all of the boxes. Apartment 285 is bright and airy and beautifully furnished. It was really well equipped with virtually everything you could ever wish for – air conditioning, full size washing machine, tv with lots of channels, dvds, books, games, beach towels. No wifi in the apartment but available free at the Azul Restaurant on the complex which was located just 2 minutes from the apartment. Lovely large south facing garden equipped with sunbeds and patio furniture – we enjoyed many meals al fresco! The complex itself is very secure and very well maintained. The pools were magnificent! Very convenient for the local bus network and only a short stroll to Old Town and main beach. Would highly recommend - a great place to chill!!

“Lovely, well equipped apartment within a quiet area of Albufeira” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Encosta da Orada apartments. From enquiring about the property and for the duration of our stay, Alan Jones gave us a first class service and was so approachable and helpful to make sure we had a lovely holiday. The apartment was spotless, beautifully presented and so well equipped. The sofa beds were an excellent size but the single beds in the main bedroom were a little too hard for our liking. It's location was ideal with lovely views across the gardens towards the pools and the complex was beautifully landscaped and maintained throughout. There were two lovely pools and the tennis court was an added bonus. The complex is situated in a quiet residential area about a 10 minute downhill walk to the centre of the old town with a variety of bars and restaurants within easy reach. We've had a fantastic, relaxing stay here and would highly recommend to others.

“Recommended” Overall, I would recommend the development and the location and would go back. The beach is 5 minutes walk. The pool is good size and clean. There is also a baby/ kids pool. Loungers and umbrellas are available no extra charge and it is never overly crowded. The stip is 10 minutes walk and old town 15 -20 minutes walk by the beach. However, we had a few problems. The microwave was not working when we arrived, it was replaced soon after. We travelled with a baby under one. The air conditioning broke down for a few days and it seemed almost impossible to get it fixed. When it was fixed a few days later it leaked water onto the tiles for the remainder of the holiday makng it very slippy. In August temperatures can get into 30's , so air con' is welcome in the apartment. When doing some extra cleaning after we arrived for our toddler to crawl safely on the floor we came accross a large broken piece of glass, lucky for us we found it first. The water pressure was low on occasion also When your paying top dollar in August , €95 per night approx. you expect top quality and service we did receive €100 compensation for the problems we had

“Excellent Accommodation!!!!” We wanted an accommodation with a homely feel and that's exactly what we got and even more. It was very clean and well ventilated. The owners were VERY HOSPITABLE and HELPFUL with requests we wanted. The apartment is centred within the holiday resort. Close to the pool, restaurant, the mini golf ( my son loved). I highly recommend it. We had an absolutely brilliant, restful time.

“Great Apartment” We've stayed in a lots of different holiday accommodation over the last number of years and this was definitely one of the best. The apartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped. Liz & Ian really have thought of everything! The complex was very well kept and very quiet. There seem to be quite a few families living there. The pool was lovely and it was great having direct access to it from the terrace. We used the BBQ on a couple of evenings when we didn't feel like going out. There is a really good bakery and a few good restaurants within walking distance. The town of Alvor is about a 30 minute walk. There are no footpaths for some of the walk so beware if you have a buggy or difficulties walking etc! However, a taxi only costs about €6. Liz & Ian were great to deal with. We'd have no hesitation in recommending this apartment!

“A piece of Paradise so close to home” Booked this apartment for my sun holiday last year in May. Had a gut feeling from the onset that this was going to be a great holiday and all my needs were going to be met. The apartment owner Padraig was quick to answer any of my questions before i secured my bookings. I was reassured by Padraig that all the amenities that i needed were within close distance to the apartment...car rental, day excursions, general tourist information etc etc. I went ahead and booked and from then on i counted down the days in anticipation for the red sandy beaches of praia da Falesia and the warm weather of the Sunny Algarve . Arrived at Pine Sun Park a 30min drive from Faro, was easy to locate and the drive was pleasant. Upon arriving the development is very impressive with well kept grounds. There was a feeling it was very quiet as i didn't see many cars, which was great for us we had the place to ourselves, i guess the herds of people come in season as oppose to off season like we were in May. The weather was awesome i really felt i had the best of both worlds, literally peace and quiet in a beautiful, warm and sunny paradise and no crowds to contend with. Checked into the apartment and was very pleased with the tasteful decor of the apartment. It was furnished with comfortable furnishings which i was well impressed with as you don't get too many rentals with lovely soft leather sofas or dining tables fit for a large group. The living area as well as all the bedrooms were very spacious. The kitchen was fitted more than adequately and lead out into a side balcony which was ideal during the day if you wanted to be partially sheltered from the sun. The piéce de résistance was the rooftop terrace, which enjoyed all day sun. I didn't need to leave the apartment for the beach or the pool because the terrace was so private and not overlooked. The rooftop terrace was fully furnished with sun lodgers and a big outdoor table with plenty of chairs ideal for dining al fresco. Within a short walk you have a supermarket with a fresh bakery, there were plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. I learnt during my visit to the Algarve that i got the best value for food and drink in the complex closest to the apartment, if you venture to Villamoura and Albufeira it is expensive but you get great value for money here and the fish is the freshest. Within this complex was a new cocktail bar which was great which meant we didn't need to venture too far from base to have great cocktails and a bit of craic. The apartment was within a 5-10 minute walk from the beach which was breathtakingly beautiful. All in all i would have no hesitation recommending this apartment and i felt very happy and secure in it. 5 STAR apartment, 5 STAR facilities, 5 STAR holiday without breaking the budget. Thanks a million Padraig for a seemless service and experience.

“Quality apartment” Very well-appointed apt with extremely comfortable double bed. Prompt responses from owner with friendly and helpful assistance from Sandra in the resort ( she sorted our parking ticket out for us). Had slight unease over big security deposit but this is a top spec apt and it was returned promptly. Whirlpool bath was v welcome after the day's hiking!

“Great apartment in the popular Alto Club” Just back from a great family holiday in Alvor. The Alto Club has a great pool and is just a short walk from the beach and town centre. The apartment was lovely with a great balcony. All appliances and AC worked perfectly. The owner was great to deal with and we would consider this apartment for future holidays.

“Fantastic, very well equipped, spacious apartment on lovely complex.” Had a lovely stay in the apartment which was very impressive. Very well equipped kitchen and large rooms with plenty of wardrobe space, Sky TV was also a bonus. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and the gardens and pools are very well kept. A little bit too far to walk to the marina with 3 small children though taxis are cheap.
