“The room with a view!” We had a really wonderful stay this week, catching up with friends and family in this lovely house with a truly magnificent view! The house was perfect- spotlessly clean, totally comfortable, perfect location with beautiful walks to the beach and the promonade and had everything we could possibly have needed .. “Brillant location, views and a homely, clean well maintained home.” Our family of 11 ranged from 18mths to 70 years of age and Ard Na Mara provided us all with loads of clean, family orientated space. All rooms were well maintained and each had use of a bath/shower room (four in total). The shower pressure was a bit slow but this is only a minor comment. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Great location to the Strand Beach and 10mins into Promenade, brilliant views over the Strand and garden was great for kids to play football. The only thing we missed was Wi-fi Would definitely recommend Ard Na Mara to any family.

“Tranquility - an idyllic home from home & a fabulous base for the North Coast.” My husband, young son and I have stayed in Tranquility on two occasions now. It is a smashing holiday bungalow both in terms of facilities and location. The facilities are superb and everything has been thought of from every utensil you could need in the kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine etc etc to board games & toys for young children. The back garden can be accessed from french doors out of the kitchen and is enclosed - great for kicking a football round to sitting in the sun (not to mention a well pegged washing line which no matter how much you try to avoid is inevitably necessary). My husband was particularly delighted with the excellent WiFi & internet access. In terms of location, a smashing play park is within easy walking distance along with a Tescos. Portstewart is the nearest town which is great, particularly on a sunny day for the kids with the outdoor water springs & park but it is simply minutes to drive to get to so many both outdoor and indoor activities, restaurants etc.. The lady who owns the property takes a lot of time and care to maintain her holiday home and is delightful to contact (and flexible) which adds to the feeling that this is not simply a business but a warm family experience. No matter what the weather, a week in Tranquility will leave you relaxed & wishing you owned a home in the North Coast - I could not recommend it highly enough as an idyllic home from home and base for a fantastic family holiday.

“Excellent bungalow for the family” We stayed in July at this lovely property with our 2 and a half year old for a week. The welcome pack and welcoming treats really set it apart and you know you have chosen well. The bungalow was spotless and the large garden was perfect for our son to run around in. The location is excellent also, a short walk to the promenade is perfect for an evening walk. Very happy and would recommend this property to anyyone.

“A lovely house, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable!” Serenity certainly lived up to its name! This lovely house is in a very quiet and peaceful location with Portstewart just a couple of minutes away by car (yet close to all major tourist attractions on the north coast). Having a supermarket a short walk away was an extra bonus. The host was very attentive and helpful with an eye for detail. We highly recommend this house, and we're hoping to return next year.
