“exceeded expectations” The villa is 5 star - all the furnishings are new and both the inside and the pool areas were spotless - the owners have thought of everything to make the villa a place to chill out and relax - Joanne the owner is professional and easy to deal with - it is in a quiet area but only a short walk into the town - there are many thoughtful little extras provided - hopefully we will be visiting again

“Outstanding” We took some winter sun with all our family totaling 8 adults. The villa was spacious and had all that a home from home would need. The location was superb for a relaxing holiday. It is a 30 min walk (flat) to the main resort which had numerous good value bars and restaurants. We have stayed in many villa over the years (17 in Portugal) and this one compares to some of the best we have stayed in. We found Julie a pleasure to work with and she also gave us some very useful information about the resort. This was our first time in the canary island and we will definitely be back in the future, hopefully to this great villa again.

“A wonderful holiday.” I stayed here as a party of 5 on a girls holiday. We arrived to a lovely welcome pack of cheese, ham, bread, biscuits , wine and beer. A nice touch and we were grateful to sit down and have a quick bite before getting a big shop in. Accommodation was perfect. We each took a room including using the sofa bed as a room. Worked out well. Kitchen had everything you'd need and is even more spacious than the photos would have you believe. Bedrooms are clean and all nicely laid out with plenty of room for clothes etc. Pool was perfect and ideal for families. Lots of pool toys in a covered container and buckets and spades, table tennis and a small putting green. Location is outside of town and a good 25-30 min walk to the centre of Playa Blanca. Taxi 3-4 Euro back. Large supermarket opposite the bus station is fully stocked and by far the best place for a big shop. Owner was easy to deal with and very responsive to my queries. Cons: we had some very heavy rainfall while we were staying at villa and when rain came at a certain angle it literally poured into the sofa bed room through a damaged seal window. We used buckets, towels and mops to control it. Agent said this was normal as it comes through the air vents. There was also similar issue in master bedroom but not as bad. This room and bed sheets felt a bit damp. I guess as a result of this occurring frequently over winter months. Agent left a couple of bottles of wine for the inconvenience and replaced towels. I guess this dries over the summer months. Overall however I would highly recommend and would consider returning with my family in the future. It's quiet, secure, private, clean and well equipped.

“Beautiful and secluded” Just back from probably the wettest week in Lanzatote history! However that didn’t detract from what it could have been. The villa is well appointed, with reverse air con (coin meter) which came in very handy when it was chilly. There’s also more boxed sets on the tv than you could watch in a lifetime, very handy when the weather is poor. Everything you could think you want is there, even a torch and hot water bottle! The pool and garden are delightful and the sunbathing terrace by the patio doors is completely secluded. This also offers an amount of shade should you need it. Pool towels are supplied which helps reduce packing, another plus! The garden is lit at night, perfect for evening drinks or bbq by the pool. The lovely owners, Alan and Hazel, were staying next door and were on hand for any issues. These for us were purely rain induced (and only due to the unprecedented amount that fell in one go) but were dealt with without qualms or delay. They also helped on our last day by looking after our luggage while we spent time in town. I would have no hesitation in recommending this villa and these owners, in fact we are going back in November to see what winter sun is really like!

“Lovely villas with beautiful views!” We holidayed here as a family of 7 and had a wonderful time! The villas are very comfortable and quiet, but it’s the outdoor living areas which are the stars of the show. The views are amazing - of both the sea and the mountains. The heated swimming pool is also a very welcomed addition!

“Beautiful views and peaceful” For me this was a welcome return to Villa Dos. Most mornings, breakfast was enjoyed on the patio taking in the magnificent views to Fuertaventura and the Lanzarote coast from the lighthouse to Papagayo beaches. While I had a car, arranged by Christine, I had occasion to use the taxis which are plentiful and cheap, even tried the bus and can confirm it is only 5 minutes down the hill. The villa was left spotless and smelling fresh after its weekly clean by Yvonne and her team. At night everything is quiet and peaceful although a couple of mornings the noise of the workmen adding the new footpath and street lighting got me up a little earlier than planned. The whole booking process was faultless. (Christine responded within 10 minutes to my original inquiry.) This will always be my first choice for any future visits to Lanzarote.

“Lovely villa with the most perfect sea view!” This is the 2nd time we have stayed in this villa. Last year we stayed 2 weeks in September just my husband & myself for 1 week & were joined by friends for the 2nd week. We hired a car both times for the transfer from the airport but found it very easy to walk down to the sea ( about 20 mins) and then walk left into Playa Blanca port or right to more restaurants and along to the lighthouse( both lovely walks) There is also a taxi rank 10 mins walk along the road. There are plenty of hotels on the front for happy hour or evening entertainment. The villa is very comfortable with a good kitchen & plenty of space inside. It has a lovely swimming pool with sun bathing terrace & plenty of sunbeds. The terrace is very private, peaceful & sheltered and gets the sun all day. There are 2 lovely areas for lazy lunches or evening meals when you don't want to eat out. We cooked fresh fish which you can buy from Las Colarados S/mkt if you have a car or the big s/mkt in Playa Blanca if not ( sorry can't remember its name) The view is really the most spectacular, it stretches from the cliffs at Papagayo to the lighthouse & it's fantastic getting up in the morning & looking across to Fuertaventura or watching the sun go down behind Montana Roja. Wish we were going back tomorrow and will definitely book again.

“Superb villa so peaceful” Fantastic villa in a lovely peaceful location. So well equipped, we didn't need to bring half the things we did. The private pool is fab. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely book to go back. shops and a few restaurants are only a short walk away, and if you want more choice the no. 30 bus takes you into main Playa blanca and further for minimal cost. No need to hire a car. Adele the owner was available on mail for questions and very responsive that was a blessing especially when looking for help to book airport transfer back. I took my iPad and kindle and didn't use any of them, the villa had good tv options, plenty of CDs and a drawer full of books and games. Very nice touch to also have ice cold treats in the fridge on our arrival. We enjoyed our stay so much we forgot to pack out bottle of duty free scotch, so the next guests might enjoy their first night ha ha.. Perfect retreat would recommend.

“Amazing!” We booked through HolidayLettings and the process was really smooth. The villa was lovely, really clean and had everything you would need. Including: beach and bath towels, a fully equipped kitchen with a kettle and toaster. The outside space was great, large clean pool that is not overlooked, very private and a pool table round the side. There is a gate at the front leading into the drive then a row of small trees then the pool. Jesus, the owner was really helpful. Any questions we had we contacted him by text and he replied quickly with the answer.

“Wonderful villa, perfect location, top class hostess!” We've just returned from a brilliant holiday in Lanzarote and a wonderful stay in Villa Java, Playa Blanca. This villa is just beautiful, exactly as it is portrayed in the pictures. Eva the owner could not have been more helpful and friendly. Upon our arrival late on a Friday evening she met us there and gave us lots of advice, hints and information about the local area. The villa is in a perfect location. There's a supermarket just at the end of the street, and the promenade is a few minutes walk away. Once on the prom, if you turn left you will find a small shopping centre with bars and restaurants - I highly recommend Carpe Diem, fabulous food, service and prices. Once past this shopping area you are 15 minutes walk over a gravelly path that takes you to the breathtaking beaches of Papagayo. The views from the top of the hill before you descend to the beach are simply stunning. Back on the prom, if you turn right 10mins walk will take you into the Marina Rubicon, with lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Great market there every Wednesday and Saturday, well worth a visit - some bars lay on musical entertainment to lure in the thirsty crowds and there is a great atmosphere. A further 20mins down the prom you will reach Playa Blanca and the harbour. You will be spoilt for choice with all the restaurants, bars and shops. There is a real hustle and bustle down here, my teenage girls loved it, but my husband and I much preferred the Marina Rubicon where life was at a much more relaxed pace! A great holiday, topped by having such fantastic accommodation, Eva has really gone out of her way to ensure anyone staying in her villa has everything they need, from all mod cons, beach towels, a few throws for those cooler evenings sitting outside and that wonderful master bedroom with the statement 4 poster bed - just wow. 10 out of 10 for this beautiful villa made even more special by the close personal attention from Eva. Hope to come back soon!

“Great holiday in well maintained villa” We were impressed by the villa- it was the 3rd we have stayed in at the Las Brisas complex and by far the best. It has benefitted from an upgrade- the kitchen, living areas and bathrooms are finished well, the bedrooms have ample storage space and the terrace is large, sunny and in a quiet area, but still very close to the pool etc. Only negative is the double bed could have been better, but overall very pleased and we have re-booked. We choose Las Brisas over its expensive alternatives like Yaiza because the pool is large and always warm, it is perfect for kids, and there is always a lifeguard. Location is fantastic too, 5 minutes to restaurants and a beach, and with a shop, good bar and play area on site what more could you need?

“Great villa on a great complex” The photos do not do this villa justice, we found it to be much more spacious than we thought it would be, 2 great sized bedrooms and the kitchen/living room area was large. The outside space was great and we used it for bbqs quite a lot (bbq had not been cleaned by last user which wasn't nice, we left it clean when we left), in between eating out at the many local restaurants, all of which were in easy walking distance. The communal pool is lovely and our 8 year old daughter met lots of friends so we got to relax on sun loungers while she swam. We only had food at the Las Brisas bar on our last day but the quality was very good. We often had a beer from there to cool us down during the day though! We hired a car for 2 weeks but you could do without one. A good sized supermarket just over the road was a bonus. There were a few things that we found not so good: Villa is semi detached so be aware that the main bedrooms back onto each other.....if quiet in your villa you can hear next door if they are making noise. I awoke once to hearing someone using the toilet in their en-suite and another early morning I could hear the dishwasher being emptied like they were in our villa. Saying that the complex is lovely and I do not think it would attract neighbours that would party all night and as a semi detached noise is to be expected. The ensuite was tiny, as were the shower cubicles in both the ensuite and bathroom but this is a design fault and can't be helped. The pillows have seen better days, really lumpy (but bed VERY comfy which was the important thing) The sun loungers by the pool can go early. We didn't find this a problem in our first week but the 2nd week was a different matter and we found we had to go out to the pool earlier than we wanted just to make sure we could get a bed. We did see the life guard removing towels/leaving notes from beds of people abusing the no reserving beds rule. We normally hire villas with private pools but Las Brisas was so lovely we didn't miss it at all. In fact I have already recommended this villa to a friend but sadly her dates aren't available otherwise she would have booked. If we return to Lanzarote we'd definitely book this villa again

“Casa Rodas Playa Blanca” This lovely comfortable and well equipped house was perfect for us. There are wonderful beaches and scenic walks all along the coastline with plenty of nice restaurants to try nearby. Thank you to Enrique and Charo who were easy to contact and very responsive. A broken microwave was replaced with brand new one immediately. We would definitely return. Christine and Brian Jordan.

“Lovely Villa and a great time” This is a lovely villa in a quiet area of Playa Blanca it is very sheltered and gets the sun all day, the villa was spotless, beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped, it is 5 minutes walk to the Supermarket and a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the Marina Rubicon where there are lots of great bars and restraints. The owners, Andrea and George, are great to deal with, very friendly and helpful from start to finish. We will definitely be going back
