“Just what was needed” Being nurses during covid this little courage was just what was needed, comfortable welcoming if finished with little touches of fresh flowers, even had milk in the fridge for that well needed cuppa after a 8 hr car journey even had some lovely cornish biscuits. The cottage is clean tidy fresh and spacious enough . Our dog was also settled and replaced in this cottage, we decided to stay another two nights. It was also near to every amenity and area that you would wish to visit either via walking or using the car . Am looking forward to staying here again ... thankyou sarah bridget and bane the dog

“Wonderful location and comfortable base” Bayview Cottage is a revelation once you climb the stairs to the lounge/kitchen upstairs area. Cosy, well equipped and relaxing topped off with a cracking view across the bay at St Michael’s Mount and Penzance harbour. Plus a little outside viewing area where several people can sit in comfort and enjoy the view. Downstairs there are three bedrooms (one en-suite) and a separate bathroom. The beds are comfortable and generously furnished with thick bedding. One of the most comfortable nights’ sleep I have experienced when staying away from home. This is a great base from which to explore this lovely part of Cornwall. The cottage is walking distance to train and bus stations. We did not have need of the car in practice. There are some nice spots to eat locally. We quite enjoyed the Longboat pub and restaurant which is a short walk from the cottage. Very friendly service. Overall, highly recommended.
