“Perfect!!!” Everything about our stay was perfect. The location was close to Matlock but far enough to ensure that our stay was peaceful. The local pub was very friendly and the food was very good. The cottage has a really nice layout and is perfect for couples planning to spend a few days in the Peak District. The owner of the cottage is very friendly and happy to help you. I will definitely be staying at The Old Creamery again in the near future.

“Fine time at Friths Cottage” Lovely cosy well equipped little cottage,that is situated very near all required ammenities - pubs,supermarket,restaurants,newsagents & even tourist information.It is just off the market square though you would never guess that as it has a wonderful quiet seclusion with a nice patio garden. We had some lovely days out as ashbourne is well situated for many interesting outings,we visited Heights of abraham in Matlock,Alton Towers & Sheffield. When the weather was not so good,we had cosy evenings in with the tv & stereo,just a shame we couldn't have sat out in the garden more.Would definately book again.

“Beautiful cottage” Perfect location for visiting Alton Towers and Chatsworth and the dales. The cottage was excellent, beautifully furnished to a high standard and very clean and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and it made a change to have good quality bedding and towels in a self catering property. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

“Total Relaxation in a beautiful cottage, in beautiful, peaceful location.” This is a gorgeous cottage, extremely comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. The use of owners swimming pool is a big bonus. Owners are very welcoming and helpful. There are some very good places to eat within a short drive. A very good area for walking and cycling. Would most definitely recommend.

“Little Gem” Cottage was amazing. Had everything we needed, but the best thing about it was the outside space - a patio area and then a garden with a summer house - wonderful for when the evenings turned a little cool. That’s said we were blessed with good weather. Excellent base with many places if interest nearby that are not overcrowded. Last but not least - Liam was an excellent host. Couldn’t have been more helpful in giving us tips for visits and coming to the rescue the evening when the oven decided not to work! I can’t recommend it enough.

“An ideal holiday home for our large family, well equipped and well maintained.” Wellwood Lodge had plenty of space to accommodate our large family, we particularly appreciated the fact that all of us could easily fit around the dining table. It was a good location for us to explore the surrounding Peak district and we also felt the location in Buxton was quite good, being only a short stroll into the town. We had absolutely everything we needed during the week - even the weather was quite good! Overall everybody in the family agreed that it had been a good choice of holiday location.

“Lovely, Homely and Amazing scenery” There was 10 adults staying at this barn and there was loads of room. The house was clean and everything you could need was there. The owner came to welcome us and was lovely and extremely helpful. The location is amazing with lovely scenery and nice and peaceful. The hot tub was also fabulous. We all had a fantastic time. Would happily go back again.
