“Had a brilliant stay. Clean accommodation & very spacious.” We recently stayed here. Had a brilliant stay. Lovely clean accommodation & very spacious. Everything we needed was in the apartment - even a hairdryer! A bonus was the use of the computer/internet access & of course the fishing rods ! Spent a lot of time fishing on Lake Tarpon from the Dockside bar (staff there were good & even brought us our takeaway lunches!). Went on a 1/2 day fishing trip with Steve Preiss (Steve's Discount Lake Tarpon Bait & Tackle Shop), very knowledgeable man & everyone caught fish on the lake. Would definitely return & recommend to others.

About Palm Harbor, Florida
Just north of downtown St. Petersburg, lies Palm Harbor – a quaint small town with a lot to offer.
Enjoy strolling around and dipping in and out of the small independent stores and discovering more about this idyllic holiday spot.
It was first formed in 1865, and hasn't changed much since then. You can still see a few historic buildings dotted around the town.
It's known for the events it throws throughout the year. There are festivals and craft fairs, as well as 'Palm Harbor's First Friday' celebrations, which are held each month. See if you can catch one during your stay.
There are plenty of places to eat. But, being so close to the sea, you obviously have to try the seafood – it's absolutely delicious! The local clam chowder is a firm tourist favourite.

For a touch of nature, head to John Chesnut Sr. Park and H.S. Pop Stansell Park. They both have fantastic views of the ocean and lush, green parks. You could easily spend a day here just relaxing and soaking up the sun.
Palm Harbor is best known for the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club. If golf’s your thing, go and enjoy the challenging course with fantastic views all the way round.
