“Cuckoo Cottage Luskentyre Harris” Truly the most beautiful spot. Cottage very comfortable great to have bathroom and shower room. A few little minuses - drafts via doors and windows, squeaky flooring in bedroom (couldn’t cope with that long term) but overall a most gorgeous spot. Acid test- would I go back YES in a heartbeat!!

“Wonderful week at Loch Portain House” Very comfortable house with views to die for, had great weather apart from one day, fantastic wildlife, a stag in garden (a Royal, had 12 points) and 6/7 hinds, golden eagle, sea eagle all seen from house, TV never on, we sat at the picture window mornings then evenings after days walking for miles on the glorious beaches. Boys were kitesurfing, canoeing and a day stalking. The house was very well equipped and we had the peat fire on a few nights which was lovely with a wee dram and a North Uist Downpour Gin. The lovely housekeeper was on hand if we needed anything and let us stay an hour later on departure day as we were getting the later ferry. Had takeaway and sit in at Berneray Bistro which was delicious, meal at Lochmaddy Hotel which was also great, a visit to the seafood shop and cafe at Kallin, Grimsay is also worth a visit. We will be back, thank you x

“Comfy Cottage in a Stunning Location” The cottage is very warm and comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. The master bedroom is particularly attractive and the bed is extremely comfortable. We enjoyed eating our breakfast while looking out over the loch. We tried to get our dog to go out in the rowing boat with us but she refused!

“Bucket List destination ticked.” Cannot rate Eranca Cottage highly enough. We received a lovely welcome to this wonderful cottage from Angus. On entering the the cottage, the table was set for afternoon tea with lots of home baking. The cottage is fabulous, very comfortable, with great views and in a brilliant central location for touring Lewis and Harris. Both Angus and Agnes are lovely hosts and live next door if any help is required. Would have no hesitation in booking again if we were to visit the Island.

“A real gem” From the time I paid the deposit to the day I arrived, David was extremely helpful in answering all my questions. The cottage was very clean and was very cosy for my family. The kids loved the upstairs bedrooms with eves !!! Location-wise I found it very conveniently placed with equal distance to places like Butt of Lewis Lighthouse and Luskentyre Beach â›± The surrounding is very peaceful and on a day with good weather it is absolutely wonderful. Will definitely be back :)

“A Little Slice of Heaven” This is a beautiful holiday home with stunning views in a perfect location. We were made to feel so welcome by the owner and the property felt very homey and relaxing. I would love to recommend this holiday rental to everyone I know but I'm also a little selfish and a part of me would love to keep this heavenly hideaway a secret. If you are thinking of renting this my advice would be go for it, I promise that you will not regret it!!!

“An excellent base for a holiday on Great Bernera” This is a very cosy cottage with a well-equipped kitchen and two good sized bedrooms. We particularly like the situation: the cottage is on its own plot with neighbours in view, but not too close. Very little passing traffic helped to make this a very relaxing week.

“A very comfortable, relaxing place to stay.” We loved the views from every window. The situation was ideal as there were many walks and beautiful beaches only a short distance away. “Harris stay” Spent a fantastic week exploring Harris and Lewis from this fantastic cottage. The road to it seems daunting at first but you soon get used to it. It’s well kitted out and had everything we needed. Comfortable and warm which was good when you gone back cold and wet. We were lucky to get an almost daily visit from local deer which were easy to spot from the cottage
