Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Perfect in so many ways!” From the moment we enquired, to being greeted on arrival, shown through the apartment and farewelled at the end of our stay, the host andrea (& his lovely mother) were friendly and helpful.
So much thought has gone into this apartment. Little touches like fresh fruit, seasonings etc for cooking, washing powder, a well equipped kitchen and quality crockery really do make this an excellent self-contained apartment, and set it apart from others. It retains the atmosphere of the original building but has lots of the mod cons to make it comfortable.
The location is brilliant for a Lake Orta stay. You are very close to the main square, restaurants and other activities in the surrounding area.
“The apartment style suits Lake Orta” If your staying at lake Orta San Giulio which is a very romantic town, it really helps if the apartment you are staying in has an atmosphere that matches.
We were privileged to be the fist guests in andrea's apartment. It is a cosy one bed room, combined living - kitchen plus bathroom apartment approximately 50 meters from the main square. The internal stairs gives a real feeling of what it was like over the centuries to get into the apartment. The apartment blends every mod. con. within a medieval building that shows the original wooden beams and ceiling boards.
The apartment wants for nothing, all you need is supplied including the practicals like the washing powder, ( as frequent travellers you know how important that is and how frustrating it is when it is not supplied ) the fresh fruit, slippers, welcome wine, milk, coffee, tea, ironing board, iron etc, all sounds basic but it's really nice not to have to think about it, it's all there and of good quality.
Nice big screen TV, wifi, even videos and books, a couple in English.
The hospitality is top notch with andrea and mother both charming, Andrea has excellent English and his mother is really house proud. Andrea picked us up from station and offered to drop us on the way out.
Really enjoyed our stay or 3 nights.
