“A brilliant place to stay - ideal for a family break away” This apartment is one of the best i have ever stayed in - it is so clean and modern and very well kitted out - especially going there with two small kids. It is very central and only a short stroll to shops and restaurants. I cannot wait to go back next year.

“Fantastic location” We were here as 2 families of 4 with young kids and absolutely loved our stay. I can see why a couple of the reviewers said the villa is a bit rustic/homely as it’s not the 5* luxury some might be looking for but it was perfect for us as we had everything we needed but didn’t need to worry so much about the kids touching/breaking things...the pool & bbq are fab & the 4 x bathrooms are big & have baths (again handy with little people). Though really it’s the location that won us over - it’s so easy to get to the beach (5-10 mins) with a couple shops, ice cream bars, bars & restaurants, really clean loos & sunbeds with shades (2 for €12.50) & a fab mix of Sandy shores & rockpools to explore. Then it’s equally easy to get to the shops - there’s a big intermarche 5-10 mins away but also a local mini-supermarket just along the road if you carry on straight where the bend is. And there are lots of lovely restaurants in Olhos if you can’t face cooking. All in all we’d really recommend it for a relaxed break!

“Just Perfect!” Fabulous, so relaxing! Lots of space and room to relax. There were 11 of us and we had an amazing time. Pool and hot tub perfect! Children loved the games room and garden. Would strongly recommend this accommodation. Very clean and has everything you need. Supermarket is short walking distance as well as nice restaurants. Recommend coffee shop across the road! Try the coffee with ice-cream! You won't regret booking this Villa!

“Amazing Time at Villa Sereia” Having just returned from a fabulous trip to Villa Sereia I can't recommend this villa enough. The villa is slightly out of the main strip, and costs around €8 to get into the centre of Albufeira, taxis are easy to get as well. The villa itself has a really beautiful pool area and everything you could need from a villa, Birgit and Jose the owners were so quick to sort out minor issues mostly within an hour which is incredible. I would not hesitate in recommending this villa and would strongly advise you to book.

“Home from home” We recently spent 9 splendid nights at the family run Apartments Cabrita. The Cabrita family own and manage the apartments and are very friendly and considerate hosts. This was the second holiday we’ve had here, (The only time we’ve ever stayed in the same accommodation more than once) it was as good, if not better than I remembered. The apartments are spotlessly clean and spacious, comprising entrance hall, with lots of luggage storage space, lounge, kitchen/diner, bathroom and large bedroom with built in wardrobes. Despite travelling out of season the apartments were fully booked but even so we always found space around the pool when we wanted to. The pool is quite small, but is kept clean and perfectly adequate for a cooling dip. For those self catering there is a small supermarket within 2 minutes walking and a larger one, just past the local market, about 7-8 minutes away. As well as the apartments there is also the family run restaurant on site, this is also recommended, the food is as at least as good as any we’re eaten in The Algarve and is cheaper than many places, Monkfish and rice is especially good, but bring a large appetite. Note: the walk to the beach is less than 10 minutes, but is down a steep hill, fine on the outward trip, but can be a bit of an effort climbing back. Tip: If you can get an apartment in the newer block I seem to remember these had a bath, the older block just a shower. PS: we booked a trip with Paradise Tours to Monchique & Silves which turned out to be the worst excursion I’ve been on, so should you decide to use them make sure you get a full itinerary before handing over any money.
