“Fabulous apartment, great location.” Have been to York on several occasions and stayed in hotels. This year decided on an apartment. Best decision! Much more relaxing we all agreed. No.8 Precentors Court is fabulous. Very comfortable and great location, within 50m of the Minster. Comfortably furnished and good beds and linen. Daryl was very accommodating and let us have early access to property and leave late to catch our trains. All in all an excellent experience. Thank you for the proseco, nice touch. We will be back!

We all had a great week end and will definitely recommend this apartment as a first class place to stay. “A great find” An excellent house within easy walking distance of York city centre. Minster House is perfect for a large group get-together. The house was spacious, very clean and well-equipped. The owners were very kind, providing a lovely welcome pack and also very helpful, recommending some of their favourite local restaurants, take-aways etc. All of our group loved the property and I am sure we will return in the future.

“lovely clean comfortable cottage in a great location” loved the location of this cottage right in the middle of all amenities.it is lovely & clean & homely with everything you need for a relaxing stay. we love Hawes & all the pubs, cafe's etc provide excellent food & a friendly atmosphere always awaits. lots of nice walks from the village to Hardraw Falls & Gayle etc..we will return.

“Excellent property to stay if visiting York” Excellent property to stay if visiting York. Very clean and all you need for a great get away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended to friends and family and will definitely go back. Sofa beds are very comfortable and place is ideal for 2 to 4 people. Also had the pleasure of meeting Lynne the owner who was lovely. Only a short walk to York Minster and shops. A great city to visit with lovely friendly people.

“Absolutely Fabulous” Spent Monday to Friday at Minster Bells with 8 friends and could quite happily have stayed longer. The house is situated on a street with shops, bars, cafes all around. It is in a fantastic location to access the centre with all the shops, bars and places of interest close by. We walked to the rail station to pick up a shuttle bus to the races, but were quite warm when we arrived as it is a 15 minute walk in heels, so maybe a taxi to the races would have been better. But other than that we strolled everywhere. The house has a lovely atmosphere, it is light, airy and very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we spent lots of time sitting around the huge table in the kitchen, eating, drinking, chatting and laughing. The bedrooms are very comfortable with plenty of storage space and lots of mirrors and place to plug in the hairdryer, which was great for all the girls! Janet Jacobi was so helpful. I emailed her many times before our visit for information and she was always so kind, nothing was too much trouble. She also put up balloons and banners for a birthday celebration. I would certainly recommend staying at Minster Bells and should we return to York in the future, I will be ringing Janet.

“Excellent property for a city break.” This is a lovely, well laid out and stylishly decorated property. It is a mere 10 minutes walk to York Minster. It’s in a quiet area. Very well equipped. En route are some great independent shops - a bakery, a cafe (called North & South ) and many other interesting shops for gifts etc. On the street leading to York Minster is a shop where you can leave your case for £3 per day - much cheaper than York station. I would definitely book here again.

“Exellent apartment” This is the second time we have stayed at this apartment, both times it was lovely, clean and modern. Good access into the centre of York. Sandra made the booking easy and always gets back to any enquiries straight away. We had a really great break.

“Total wow factor!, Fantastic accommodation and central to everything!” I never bother writing reviews unless somewhere genuinely feels like 5 star and this place did. The tower is totally different to what we have stayed in before. The character is fantastic and the bedrooms are amazing, especially the master bedroom on the top floor which is enormous and has the best jacuzzi bath we have ever used. There is a huge roof terrace with wonderful views and we enjoyed many a glass of wine on the roof terrace. The location could not be more central. You cross the road and you are basically in the centre, It is 2/3 minutes walk to York Minster, York Museum, York Dungeons, York Chocolate story, The shambles ( which is little lanes of fantastic shops & restaurants ) The Viking Centre and if you don't want to travel by car it is about a 4-5 minute walk to York train station. Unless you are planning to travel outside of York you really don't need a car. Nathan that looked after our booking was first class from when we first booked, to communicating with us the week before we travelled and was kind enough to meet us at the tower on our arrival to show us around the whole accommodation, we were also met with a lovely hamper the day we arrived. The kitchen has absolutely everything you would ever need if you cook in at any times, and these are so many great restaurants I would not know where to start... this is one place we will definitely be retuning to in future. You wont be disappointed.
