“HIGHLY RECCOMOENDED” Absolutely loved staying here. Magnificent walks from the doorstep. Home away from home. Loved every minute. Hope to go back one day. Elwyn was the perfect host.

“Fabulous setting and fantastic house” We stayed for 2 weeks and explored the area on foot from the boathouse and by car over the region. The walks from the door are great and varied-to the train station where there is a cafe and a play park for our 3 year old, as well as the steam trains, round the lake, down to Tan y Bywch house, through the woods. So much to see and do in the wider area for all age groups. The house was a great base with everything we needed - a home from home. One little warning would be the steep drop a few metres in front of the house which is risky for tiny children.

“The best holiday” We had a fantastic time at Hafn. Felt at home and excited to be next to the sea.Best sea view you could wish for. The house oozed character. Not modern by any means but so comfortable and functional. Just felt incredible to be there.

“Money well spent!” We had a lovely weekend in No 3. Comfortable and warm with everything we needed. Kitchen equipped with all sorts of extras such as foil, cling film, oils, ketchup etc which we were asked to replace if they ran out. It sleeps six but as a two we had plenty of room to spread out; six might be a bit cosy downstairs. A small garden with decking and table and chairs for four. Garden enclosed so dogs safe, but with the beach only 50m away it was easier to walk them down the road onto the sand. A quiet area with parking for one car in the courtyard right outside the house. Owner Claire was a pleasure to deal with. Excellent value for money - recommended!

“Great house!” We had a great time staying in the house. It's huge and really well furnished and decorated. Owners were really nice and helpful, and everything was in place. Little notes and sweets left for the kids left them overwhelmed! we were lucky to have a sunny day! So we just walked down to the tram, took it up the hill and strolled down to the pier and town. The house location is perfect as you don't need to get in the car to get to the beach, town or the pier. The views from the top of the hill were great. highly recommended!

“Perfectly peaceful place” We stayed here for a long weekend, 4 adults with 4 children ranging from 5 years to 11. We had a wonderful time, the lodge is lovely and the local area is great for days out. Penvale Lakes is a really quiet park but the pool was great for the kids and fishing on the lake plus paddling in the little stream was heaven for the kids. Ideal for a weekend away for anyone that wants peace and quiet but plenty of things to do on your doorstep.

“Ideal base for adventures in Snowdonia” A comfortable, cozy nest for a family of five. Well equipped and homely - it was always lovely to come back to after a day out. Great location with wonderful views (weather permitting) of the surrounding valleys, hills and mountains. A quiet retreat set back from and above the main road, so it felt very peaceful while at the same time being well connected for trips around North Wales. Also, very well situated for assaults on Moel Siabod (the path up goes past the cottage), Snowdon (of course) and any other peak you can think of in Snowdonia. We loved it.

“Fantastic setting, people and location” Stayed last week in August 2012 as last minute booking, mix of weather but location brilliant for beach and mountains etc. Shame we could not make the most out of the gardens due to the weather. Lots of DVDs and freeview tv for the evenings when it rained though. Fantastic waterfall just across the road. There was myself, wife and two children, 7 and 10 and our two dogs and there are some fantastic walks very close to cottage, and some fantastic beaches within circa 12miles. Recommend Black Rock and Harloch. Bedgelert and other touristy locations all close enough to enjoy without having to drive for hours. Shame the Ffestiniog train was so expensive though as we walked to nearest station - about a mile - and it was £45.00 return for us all just to Portmadog then another £70.00 to Carnarfon. A lovely couple and children who made us feel welcome. Thanks for letting our children use your zip wire and trampoline. Was worried our children might find it boring and compact but they had a great time as did our dogs. Would recommend to any one as great value for money, in a lovely old cottage. Only thing i missed was a local pub but did find a nice Hotel / pub called the Oaklands within driving distance, just a bit too far to walk. Thanks Oliver and Sheena for a lovely week.

“Ideal base for Snowdonia” The cottage is just off the main High Street down a cul-de-sac with a handful of other properties. A parking space is available on the gated front garden. There is a conservatory on the front of the cottage which serves as a smart dining room. The design is open-plan, leading into a lounge area with a small but well equipped kitchen. Up the stairs there is a fold-up bed for guests but also the sofa downstairs is a bed/settee. The smart and spacious bedroom gives a great view of the lake and there is an en-suite shower room. The property is best suited for couples as the only toilet is in the ensuite. The gardens are well kept and there is an outhouse with tumble dryer etc... Also there is a washing machine in the kitchen which proved handy for washing muddy clothes. All in all, highly recommended. Ruth next door helped with any questions we had but was not intrusive.

“Cosy base for exploring Snowdonia National Park” A fantastic cosy cottage from which to explore all the delights of Snowdonia. It's compact but very clean and comfortable and fitted our family of four (including two boys of 11 and 14) perfectly. The welcome pack was a very nice touch. As others have said the pub across the bridge is very friendly and shows football matches in the evenings. Thanks very much Alan, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't fault the communication or the cleanliness of the cottage.

“"Wow"!” We have just returned from our stay at Bramley cottage and What a wonderful week we've had. We were wowed from the moment we walked through the door and to be honest don't feel the photos do the property full justice. The living room, which appears to be the original part of the cottage was so cosy and loved putting our tea lights on in the huge fire place in the evenings. The kitchen diner is huge and modern, light and bright with everything you need. Loved putting the radio on in the mornings whilst preparing breakfast and the French doors open out to the beautiful walled garden which is so peaceful and relaxing. The bathroom is lovely and modern with huge bath and fantastic rainfall shower. The bedrooms, particularly the king size were extremely comfy and despite no wardrobe in the double room there is drawer space and room enough to share in the massive wardrobe in the king room. I was a little uncertain about the cottages location but it's literally a few minutes easy walk into the centre and we always managed to find a parking space too! We felt so relaxed and at home that we didn't want to leave. Would definitely recommend Bramley and also Pippin which is next door and hope very much to return in the future! Thanks Gill and Dave for making our holiday so special!!

“Stunning!!” We are a family of 7 including a 3 year old & a dog. We visited Borth Esgob from 22nd - 29th of December to celebrate Christmas. The house was absolutely stunning & had the most beautiful views of the beach & coastline from every window. Our dog particularly enjoyed her 2 daily walks on the white sandy beach which was yards away from the property. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could think of including lots of glasses, large glasses for wine ( always welcome!!) Cutlery, mugs, dinner sets, coffee machine ( pods) various sized coffee bodums, tea pots, cook ware, etc, etc. The American style fridge freezer was very useful for large families. The utility room housed a washing machine & a dryer which was helpful when you have a 3 year old with you. The 4 bathrooms were modern & the showers were powerful & always provided hot water. The sitting room was comfy & we were able to watch Netflix & Amazon prime on the large internet TV . The internet was fast which was great as some members of our family had to work during some of the days we were there. We loved all the artwork in the property & the little touches that made it feel very homely. The upstairs sitting room was lovely & felt very peaceful especially as I needed a few minutes away from the family downstairs on occasions!! There were plenty of games, books & children's games & jigsaw's. The house was very warm & had been decorated to a high standard. It was extremely clean & we felt very much at home from the time we arrived. Borth Esgob is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in & we would like to visit again. We have plenty of happy family memories from our week spent there If it ever goes on the market please let me know!!!

“lovely cottage, great location” Wonderful cottage at bottom tramstop for great orme. Five minutes walk into town, a little steep on way back if you have walking probs. Excellent chippy on doorstep. Recommend kings head (also on doorstep), queen vic down road, and especially the amazing palladium (for the amazing building, as well as greatprices) superb renovation by weatherspoons. Cottage was lovely , comfortable, well furnished, and spotlessly clean. En suite wa a bit of a tight squeeze. If you leave the gate open you might be surprised by a giant kashmiri goat in the garden ! Only downside was parking space a bit tight ( scratched door on exit). Thoroughly enjoyed week in llandudno, would cetainly stop here again.

“Silence is Golden” What an amazing place in an amazing location. The Lodge is superbly equipped and we couldnt have wanted for anything more. The views are simply stunning and waking up in such a comfy bed and being able to lay there looking at the Water is wonderful. It is wonderful in this day and age to wake and only be greeted by the sound of Birds and nothing else. Have already booked for next year......:-)
