“Beach Getaway” This place is perfect! Updated and right on the ocean with an amazing view. However, there is not much beach to put chairs down and sit. You can sit for only 2-3 hours in the mid-morning. This did not bother us though as we enjoyed the view all week and drove to a public beach access with parking 2 mins down the road, packed our lunch and stayed there the entire day. The condo is only a 5 minute walk to the sound which we did almost every night to see a beautiful sunset.

“Awesome” We have never had a bad experience with renting this place. Love the fact that it is away from the mess of the busy beach life but close enough too. Love the peaceful aspect and the owners are great people to work with. If you ever get the chance to rent this place do so. You won't regret it. We will be back.

“Entire family enjoyed everything about our stay” The place where we stayed was spacious with a beautiful view of the ocean. The private walkway was a plus. We liked the overhang on our porch where we could escape the sun and rain but still enjoy the terrific view. Went to see the aquarium and spent an entire day at Beaufort. Fort Macon was very educational and enjoyable.

“A great time "For Shore"!” My extended family and I have stayed at One For Shore for 6 summers now. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when visiting Emerald Isle. The house is well appointed and maintained- just pack your clothes and your good to go. The beach access is just across the street making it super easy with the young children. The pool is an added bonus- when you are tired of the sand go relax by the pool. We look forward all year to our most relaxing week at the beach.

“elegance and peacefulness at the beach” Angelfish Cottage was everything we hoped it would be. You are always skeptical when renting a house you have never seen but this house exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, beautifully decorated and I could tell the owners put a lot of thought into the details. My son especially enjoyed the Playstation and the games (which hadn't been advertised). There were movies available as well as some boardgames. Each room had a flatscreen t.v. two of which were huge. The upperdeck had comfortable lounge chairs so you didnt have to carry anything up there. They have top of the line appliances which were wonderful. There were plenty of extra pillows and blankets which we didn't need but appreciated having them if we had. My only disappointment was that the Wifi did not work. I had to access another line that was not secure. Staying at the angelfish Cottage would assure you of an enjoyable vacation at Emerald Isle. :)

“"Edgewater" at Emerald Isle is a wonderful Autumn experience” We enjoyed our stay very much. "Five Stars" to the personnel at Shorewood Real Estate. They were very professional and courteous and provided excelent service. The house was neat and of course the location was "top-notch". We enjoyed the spaciousness of the upstairs area. “Loved it!” We've rented many different houses at Emerald Isle, and Crystal Charm East is our favorite. The location is great - you are close to everything without feeling the bustle of the main drag. The house is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Because we have teenagers we really appreciated the wireless internet access. I did feel some anxiety about the ceramic stovetop and the need to clean it after each use. And we had an ant problem at the beginning of the week that was quickly solved by a can of Raid - we didn't call the rental office about it since they disappeared in a day. The only suggestion I would make would be to add some beach items - sand chairs, boogie boards and an umbrella. We'll definitely rent this house again!

“Isle Stay Vacation” Isle Stay is a lovely beach home, we have stayed here several years now. We noticed a few more problems this year than in the past, however. The pool table was not usuable, the top rack of the dishwasher kept falling, the dryer needed several cycles to get most loads dry. I did not feel the bathrooms were as clean as I would have liked upon arrival. There was a towel rack pulled out of the wall in one of the upstairs bathrooms (which did get repaired) and the deck had blue paint writing on it.
