“Ms” We loved this place! Spacious, tastefully decorated with a south west vibe, clean, and every convenience included. We really enjoyed the bbq and the hot tub on those cold starry nights. We knew from previous comments (thank you!) that there might be an issue with the hot tub being cold. So that was the first thing we checked on arrival, and sure enough it was cold. It took about 48 hrs to reach a good temperature. That would be my only criticism of the place. If you book here, consider calling the management company a couple of days before to make sure it's turned on and heating up. Also, no coffee was provided. I suggested even just a couple of pods would be nice until one has a chance to get to the grocery store. Most condo rentals elsewhere would do this. And, more dishwasher detergent. Who wants to buy a whole pack of detergent or do dishes by hand when on vacation :( these two things felt stingy for such a beautiful luxury condo. They should be fixed. But we loved this place, it was the perfect base for our mountain bike holiday, the spacious garage for our bikes was the icing on the cake.

“Quiet out of the way home with beautiful views. Family friendly.” The location is very quiet (Soto) the beach is a 5 min walk from the doorstep! This is a great home for a family, all appliances worked, everything you need for a relaxing stay. The views from the sun decks are to die for great sunsets. The mangers of this property are A1+. We had some issues with our hire car ( you need a car on this island) They could not do enough to help us. So go on take the family and relax in this home. Was very easy to book, the owner and property mangers make the stay very easy and relaxing.

“30th Anniversary walkabout!” My wife and I stayed at the Better Bijou for a full week. What a lovely home, and wonderful host. The location was exactly as described. All the amenities in the home were clean and easily available. If you are looking to be in Historic Old Colorado City and close to Everything Colorado Springs had to offer, you won't find a better value than this home. Even though we didn't see our host, her felt available and easy to access.

“Would recommend to anyone with no hesitation - excellent vacation in PEI” Every day spent in Bonshaw was excellent. Hiking trails are wonderful. River closeby for canoeing and kayaking. Such a beautiful place to enjoy nature. The owners were warm and welcoming and the cottage was beautiful and very very clean. Cozy cottage with view of nature. Close to everything, especially beautiful beaches. If we have the opportunity, we would love to go again!

“Amazing cabin!” When you first walk in, there is a wonderful smell, was clean & quaint. The guinea fowl gang that came out at 7:30pm was one of my absolute favorite things, walking and cackling to one another as loud as peacocks - made me smile! Their cows on the property were kept in excellent condition and had a whole property to roam and the pond right in front of cabin was stocked with fish and I caught 14 fish over a 2day period and we were the only ones there! Finally, they had THE best wine I've ever tasted and the people were welcoming. They didn't have WiFi,which was the only downside but the property itself made up for it by forcing you to get outside your cabin and enjoy the fresh air. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Thank you!
