“Quaint cottage with great view” Lovely cottage with all you need and a great view, the cottage was clean and inviting and the home made cream tea was a bonus. Mortehoe is a great little village with all you need.

“We would definitely recommend staying in this lovely house” We were a group of couples with 3 babies/toddlers. The house was as advertised and was perfect for our weekend stay (shame we were not staying longer). The booking was easy and the owners were quick to repsond to any emails exchanged before our holiday. It was lovely to be in a village setting yet close to the beach with coastal walks just on your doorstep. We will definitely go back to The Buttery again at some point.

“fantastic, you must stay here” I found Cromlech house after almost giving up looking for a place for us & our six friend to celebrate new year, as we only wanted a 4 day break i email Dominic about availability & pricing his response was very quick calling me that evening, he could not have been more helpful, after booking the property for our stay Dominic constantly stayed in contact giving us info & asking if there was anything that we needed to make our stay more comfortable the service he offers is outstanding, The house is a credit to its owners it has been restored to a very high standard, & has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay, the location is great, stand at the front door & you can see the sea, there are many coastal walks, & the village has 3 public houses, i would recommend a stay here you would not be disappointed

“Truly wonderful” We have just returned from a truly wonderful week at Shaftsboro’ cottage. Margaret and her family are wonderful hosts sharing lots of local information as to where to visit and where to eat. The cottage is compact but very well appointed and very comfortable, and the spacious garden is beautiful. Our dog enjoyed his stay too getting on well with the farm dogs. We loved the local Lee beach, local walks from the farm and the local pubs were dog friendly too. The cottage is well situated to visit other parts of Devon too and within a short distance of The Tarka Trail and Exmoor National Park. A truly fantastic find and we will definitely be returning.
