Villa Laura, amazing breakfast included , exclusive use of entire home
My partner and I loved our stay with Antonietta. The property is a beautiful villa perched above Positano in the town of Montepertuso, which you can reach in 15 minutes with the local bus. It was lovely to be just out of the crowds of Positano, yet close enough to easily access Positano each day. Montepertuso itself has some nice restaurants that we went to, including Antonietta's family restaurant, La Tagliata, which we highly recommend!
The villa itself is beautiful, even better than the photographs. You have an incredible view of the ocean from the terrace, and the interior of the villa is very new and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is equipped with everything you require should you wish to cook, the bathrooms are immaculate, one with a Jacuzzi and the other with a shower with excellent water pressure. The beds are very comfortable with what I think could be memory foam mattresses, or something very similar, and there are extra pillows and blankets should you require them. The house was extremely clean and the wifi was very good.
The best part of our experience aside from the stunning villa was the wonderful hospitality and generosity shown by Antonietta and her family. From the beginning we were treated like family. We had a minor issue with the taxi on arrival into Positano, so Antonietta’s Brother in Law came personally to pick us up in his car. We were greeted by Antonietta on the driveway to the villa and she offered us a bottle of Prosecco as a welcome gift. Throughout the stay Antonietta was in contact with us to ensure we were satisfied and enjoying ourselves, and she and her husband cooked us an amazing breakfast every morning served in their beautiful garden. Upon departure Antonietta gave us a bottle of homemade Limoncello, an Italian after dinner digestive. We were touched by her thoughtfulness and generosity.
I cannot recommend Antonietta’s villa highly enough. We had such an incredible experience and will absolutely stay here again when we next visit Positano. Thank you to Antonietta and her lovely family. …
