“Great Location” We stayed for three nights at The Beach House self catering 31st October - 3rd November 2013. On arrival at The Beach House Lynne the owner gave us a very friendly welcome. We liked the accommodation and the location, the beach was great for walking our dog. We did miss not having a freezer for our ice cream as it is self catering also the heating did not come on for our last night there. It was a easy few minute walk to Hall Rd train station for Liverpool Central and Southport. Without a doubt we hope to go back if Lynne will have us and would recommend this vacation to others. “Clean, comfortable, centrally located” Our extended family of over 60 people (most from US) were visiting for a memorial for my mother who was raised in Southport during the 30's & 40's. Southport for most was a distant memory or none coming in, but was certainly a delight for the 4+ days we spent. Wanted to say The Loft was better than anticipated, but the photo's and description did a great job and expectations met anticipation. One difference, bathrooms are hard to show in photo's, better than expected. The location was right off lord street on the south end, convenient to great restaurants, bars and Morrison's (great shopping food store). Lyn was readily available if needed, but we did not. We did extend our stay by 1 day.

“Comfy Cottage” Every year we come to Liverpool to visit our friends and have stayed in different places. I have to say that this was the most comfortable. We are a family of four with two children aged 2 and 6. Sonya was very accommodating by providing an extra bed for our 2 year old. We enjoyed sitting out in the yard as well as walking into Woolton village. Woolton village is a beautiful location for those visiting Liverpool area as its quiet and pretty. It is not from the city centre either. I guess the only negative thing to say was that there was very little crockery, plates were at a premium. Although that was not always a bad thing as there was also no dish washer so we had to wash up after every meal. Despite the lack of crockery we would definitely consider staying there again when we next visit Liverpool. Our children enjoyed the place too.
