We booked with leoarndo his appartment was idealay located in town centre, open space kitchen & living room with two single beds & large bedroom with plenty of storage the apartment was clean & had everythin we needed..with a plesant balcony view! "Excellent place for a family holiday"

The location is ideal for a relaxed and peaceful break. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beach with brilliant waves. 15 minutes drive to a selection of super markets where you can get everything you need for a self catering holiday. The villa is well equipped and comfortable with lovely gardens and a great private pool. The owner Francisco was very friendly and helpful, he even came to find us when we got lost on the way there. A wonderful house in a great location

A great house in a beautiful location between Ericeira and Mafra, plenty to see and do right on your doorstep. Very convenient base for visit to Lisbon and easy access to roads for exploring further afield. We were greeted on arrival by lovely hosts and also met the owners who had been wonderfully kind and helpful from when we made the booking and throughout our stay. The garden and pool were so relaxing we loved spending time there and had to force ourselves to go out some days! Perfect Stay

Stayed there almost three weeks and it became a real home for me. The house is decorated lovingly in every detail. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, its 100% complete and very well kept. Everything was thought of, from the charcoal on the grill in the garden over extra pillows in the wardrobe to the medical box in the kitchen (which one hopefully will not need). A perfect home, I think for all time of the year (nicely working and designed heating in sleeping rooms, great fireside in the living room)! Its a safe and quiet and very, very friendly place. And so is the village. Its the opposite of a touristic housing estate: its small, friendly and sunlit. You can do all your daily shoppings within short walking distance and you will lose time only, when you start a conversation with the fishmonger about the best way to grill a sea bass or with the owner of the fantastic butcher shop next door about the perfect size of a veal chop. Not to mention the many and very good restaurants all along the coast. There are many beaches within 1 km to 10 km distance, each with its own character and light (and waves...). Actually, you could choose a different beach for every day in the week, but many people, like me, soon find out their favorite one. One or two words about the hosts: Ana and Mario, the landlords, are simply the best! They care and you know, if something unforeseen happens, they will be there! Everything, that is already expressed in the atmosphere of the house, you will find again in their kindness and true, heartfelt care. Casa da Vila Ericeira
Great location

Location of the house is great, a couple of mins walk to both the beach and the centre. House is on a road which is fairly busy as it is on a one way system and you get the traffic both ways so it was noisy at the front of the house. This wasn't helped by a big gap under the front door. The kitchen diner was a good size, the kitchen was fairly dated but it was functional for our needs, there was no kettle so we ended up buying one for our stay. The kitchen /diner could have been cleaner, quite a few cobwebs and very dusty by the washing machine. Bedrooms were nice, tidy and clean, the front bedroom was a good size, we used the middle room as it was quieter for sleeping although very small. Only 1 bathroom upstairs, the other is located at the back of the kitchen which was handy for when downstairs however if 4-6 people were staying it may be an issue. Small courtyard is nice for a couple to sit out but would have been a struggle for more to sit out comfortably. The lady who's details I was given to call to collect the keys from didn't speak any English so it took a while for us to get sorted, thank goodness for Google Translate! … see more
ERICEIRA- De luxe villa with pool and seaview
Fantastic house

We stayed here for a week in August. We were a mixed family group aged between 6 and 70. The house was great, looked just like the pictures and was perfectly equiped. Location was good, although it is on a hill which proved a little difficult for the less fit members of the family. It is a 10 minute downhill walk to nearest beach and 20-30 mins to centre of town. The uphill walk home is quite steep but taxis are available from the taxi rank in town and only cost 4-5 euros. We hired electric bikes which were really fun and made easy work of the hills. The beach bus which stops at the bottom of the hill only charges a euro and will take you to all the beaches in Ericeira area. We had a really great week. Ericeira has a huge amount of great restuarants selling traditional Portugese food (not a full English in sight!) our favourite was TikTak. Its worth booking the good restuarants if you are a large party as you will struggle to get a table last minute.We would definately come back another year. … see more
