“Spectacular view and wonderful quietness” My family of 5 and I fully enjoyed our one week stay at The Cave Yuccas in October 2010. The place offered complete relaxation, exciting trips to nearby castles and winerys and interesting small villages with tempting flea markets and delicious farmer's markets.

“Relaxing stay in the Loire Valley” The two of us stayed here for three nights in June...would have liked to have stayed a whole lot longer! This property is situated in a beautiful spot, on the edge of a quiet, yet spectacular forest. Facilities are great (including swimming pool!) as are hosts Karen and Craig who gave us lots of great tips and were delightfully friendly. Loved the special touches including bottle of delicious Rose waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived. A great spot to base yourself exploring the Loire Valley.

“We Loved It” My only complaint about La Menagerie was the fact we had to leave after our five night stay. If you ever plan on visiting the Loire Valley to see the vineyards and the many castles in the area, stay at La Menagerie. Everything about the cottage exceeded our hopes and expectations. As I write this review, I'm trying to decide what I/we liked best. Biking throughout the area was spectacular. Sitting outside with a glass of wine the sunset was spectacular. Taking the short drive to Chitenay for a wonderful dinner at the hotel was spectacular. Cooking our own dinner in the fully equipped kitchen was spectacular. Sitting by the fireplace in the great room was spectacular. Having the help and advice from Philippe was spectacular. If you were to look in the dictionary for a definition of "comfortable" you will most likely see the words, "La Menagerie." Having to leave was not spectacular.
