“I Really Want to Keep this Gem for Myself!” I spent five days in Ubud searching for a villa to bring my friends. Villa Kanti stood high above the rest! This is true luxury with everything in perfect order, architecturally designed and beautiful. The pool frames the edge of the living/dining area with ponds to give a serene effect. All five bedrooms are stunning. Upper Master does not have aC but the others do. It was designed this way. One bedroom (upper temple) is set up with twin beds. The rest are all for couples. Bathrooms in the master and rice paddy, and lower temple rooms are outdoors and huge with private gardens surrounding. There is an aC TV room, hot tub, pool, sauna and upstairs reading area with a laptop with WiFi. The villa is set about 15 minutes outside Ubud at the end of the road in the rice paddies, very private. The staff were great and always available but very discreet. You rarely saw them but if you needed something, simply walk to the kitchen and someone is there. Meals are served on your schedule, you tell them when and while there are set menus to choose from, everything was flexible. Food was wonderful and well presented. The staff never want to bother you so you tell them in advance when you want dinner and then simply tell them, we are ready when you are and they will serve. We brought our own drinks. Meal prices are extremely reasonable. The villa comes with a van and wonderful driver who is available to you for 8 hours a day in the local area. This was very convenient. I will go back in a heartbeat. Except for the aC which needs some attention to in the rice paddy room, there simply was nothing I didn't love about this place. This is a 5 bedroom villa. If you fill it, it is very reasonable. The villa does not sell by the room which is good. You don't want that kind of experience here. You want it all to yourself or with your friends and family.
