Thank you for your lovely review and glad you enjoyed your stay ,sorry about not being able to lock the patio doors -I know it's a nuisance and if I ever need to change the door will make sure I will have one that you can lock from inside and out
The Bungalow is wonderfully spacious with a sunny (and private) terrace. We liked the ceiling fans and breezes through the window that kept things comfortably cool without the sometimes over aggressive chill that air con provides. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is on the flight path but you soon get used to it and of course it makes for a very short transfer so you can get on with your holiday straight away - a definite plus point. Apart from the aeroplanes, it's actually very peaceful and relaxing. From the terrace, there are a few steps down to the garden path and then just a short stroll to the swimming pool. Pool is lovely - a great size for 'proper' swimming and loads of room if you just want to splash about instead. The pool area is well maintained and has free sunloungers and is well maintained. Even though we visited in Aug, it was never crowded. There's a small supermarket a couple of mins walk away but it's pricey so Ok for a few bits but suggest using Mercadona instead. Drive in under 10 mins or walk (20/25 mins) and catch a taxi back for 5 euros. Maria in reception (you need to use the reception in Las Adelfas 2) is very helpful with local info/trips etc. Next to her office is a 'water machine' which is very cheap - take your empties and refill for 10 cents a litre. The immediate beach isn't anything special - rocky - but running alongside is a really nice coastal walk (with a safe path) which we (inc 3 children) enjoyed. You can turn towards the Marina area with restaurants or venture further in the opposite direction till you come to San Blas Square with its restaurants and little souvenir shops. At a very steady stroll (with kids and making photo stops) from bungalow to the Square its about 25 mins walk each way but you could do it a good bit quicker. The Waterfall restaurant in Las Adelfas 2 (minutes away from bungalow) is very good - fresh homemade food, lots of choice and daily specials too. They offer entertainment with Sunday lunch (also Thu I think) and a Wednesday quiz night too (suitable for families) if you want some low key fun.
The only things missing for us were a BBQ (but no big deal) and wi-fi access at the bungalow but both were clearly explained to us in advance so no complaints at all. Overall we would be very happy to recommend the bungalow for a comfortable, chilled break and as already said, you will love the pool. …
