“Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location” My husband and I stayed here with our 2 boys for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The lodge is gorgeous and very private. It is well equipped with everything that you could need. There is so much to do on the doorstep that we will definitely be back to explore more.

“Pod life” Lovely pod, stunning scenery. Cosy and surprisingly warm thanks to the little heater. Great for kids and very clean/excellent facilities. Only negative thing is there is no path from the car area to the pod or the toilet block to the pod and so therefore shoes and pod got rather soggy and muddy from very wet muddy grass. Apart from that would highly recommend this pod/campsite to family and friends.

“Comfortable, clean and well equipped” Had a lovely stay here with 5 friends. Extremely well equipped homely lodge with gas BBQ, lots of chairs outside on the decking, wine on arrival was a lovely touch. Owner was friendly and efficient when emailing details. Whole leisure park has free wi-fi. Only thing is the 3rd bedroom is extremely small compared to the other 2. Overall I highly recommend.

“Swan view cottage” Lovely, cute spotlessly clean well equipped cottage. Tucked away in a pretty location, with the steam train passing at the bottom of the garden every half hour. The swan hotel is a short walk away which serves excellent food where you can eat inside or outside beside the river. Location is good for activities, reccomended.

“Fantastic place to stay.” We have just returned from a week stay in Crag View, Fisherground lodges. Easy booking service. Fantastic lodge, well thought out with extra touches to make the stay easier. We travelled with our 10month old baby and a cot and high chair were in the lodge ready for us upon arrival which was helpful. Location was stunning, fantastic views, very peaceful and great for walks, visiting lakes or going on the little steam train which has a stop from the field next door. Lots of pubs nearby for meals, one in walking distance which was very nice. Pete and Kathryn were very welcoming and even went out of their way in returning property to us that we left. Had a lovely time and will definitely be returning. Can not recommend enough for a stay, well worth it.

“Gorgeous lodge” We have just returned from 3 nights at this lodge and it was perfect. Great lodge with all amenities,lovely comfy beds and very warm inside lodge all of the time. Site is lovely, great woodland walks for the dog too. Centrally located to explore Bowness, Ambleside and all other lovely parts of the Lake District. Will definitely be returning,thanks

“Fantastic Cottage” We really enjoyed our stay here. Farmer Stephen is very friendly, and even let us watch the lambs being born! Great for the boys to run around the field and wade in the stream.

“Modern and great location” We arrived and found a welcome pack in the kitchen with tea, jam etc in the same very nice! We loved the decor and the modern feel and the location was excellent, right in the centre and near all shopd and restaurants, take aways etc, beds very comfy although could do with buying some pillow protectors! In the advert for the place it says parking for 2 cars on the front - you wouldnt in any way fit 2 we lukily only took 1 car and had trouble getting out sometimes because of the chef from over the road parking straight opposite making it very difficult to manouver. Not so sure I would go again just yet as I will wait until my youngest daughter whom has just gone into a bed is bigger as no stair gate on top landing which would scare me! All in all though I would go again probably in a few years lovely!
